Honestly its pretty fantastic. My biggest problem with the Nexus isn't ICS even though its a little buggy its that the hardware just doesn't seem up to the standards of other devices like the Rezound or Razr. Sure the screen is nice but it seems like Samsung always has to to add some lesser components like 3G/4G radios, cheaper quality plastics, etc. to keep the cost down due to the expensive screens. I know Samsung has the ability to create a knock it out of the park smartphone so its frustrating that they couldn't do it with the flagship ICS device. The Razr has all the hardware specs and build quality that I want from my smartphone and the Maxx adds the battery life that we have been missing since 4G became the golden standard for mobile data. So while there isn't ICS on board the Maxx with its light weight blur over 2.3.6 is fast fluid and stable. I have yet to experience a single reboot, slow down, lag, or anything on the Razr/Razr Maxx and that's saying something where Android is concerned. The biggest thing though is with the newest update the Maxx does not drop data or have issue switching between 3G/4G anymore. It holds signal fantastically and when it does have to switch its fast to do it. As a daily use device I think the Maxx is hard to beat right now. If the Nexus can fix the signal issues, get battery life better, and get ICS more stable that may change but for now the Maxx is my daily driver.
