[Verizon] [Q] What happens when 4.0.4 gets pushed?

I never got any OTA's on my rooted and rommed Droid so I was wondering- my Nexus is rooted running stock 4.0.2 w/ cwm touch recovery; when vzw pushes 4.0.4 will I-

-Lose root I assume
-Lose recovery?
-Relock the bootloader?

I'm not interested in any custom roms yet, and I'd rather not have to re-root. Can I refuse/delay installing an OTA update? Any other options?

You'll probably be prompted to install the OTA update, but CWM recovery will actually block the install from going through, so you don't have to worry about losing root or anything like that.

Your best bet would be to download a pre-rooted image (which are already available for 4.0.4) and install that over your current setup using CWM recovery, which will get you all updated without any loss of root. I'm not sure whether or not you'd have to wipe data, though.

It usually takes little to no time at all for someone to posted a stock, rooted ROM. I'm running one for 4.0.4 now with no issues and did the same with my Droid whenever I wanted to try a stock ROM (instead of accepting the OTA). I also did/do the same thing with my XOOM. At worse you wait maybe a day after the OTA to get a stock rooted ROM, but usually it's the opposite, you get it sooner than the OTA thanks to leaks.
