Future Droid 4 owner: Is Smart Actions legit?

Planning on buying a Droid 4 this Friday. I know it's quite similar to the RAZR, so I thought I'd ask here:

Considering the stigma of battery life LTEs have, I want some life extenders. I already plan on using JuiceDefender, but does the new Smart Actions app Moto provides actually extend life? From your experiences, do their claims of extending battery life have merit?

Thanks in advance for the help!

However, I would consider myself a moderate user.

What would you define as a moderate user? What do you normally do with the phone of a typical day? I would use my phone for mostly texting, 1 or 2 phone calls, reading some news apps, and maybe a total of 30 minutes of games.

Normally, when I go to bed the phone has from 30 to 40% of the battery remaining.

How many hours has it been on for when you go to bed?

It's definitely legit. But it isn't going to magically solve all your battery problems. I find it really really helpful for everday tasks. i.e. When I go to bed and plug my phone in, it automatically shuts my ringer off. When I get in my car and connect my phone to Ford Sync, it turns the ringer up, shuts off wifi, and changes the brightness to automatic. And I got different settings for different battery levels too.

smart actions is awefreakingsome....i only use it for the battery purposes and it does a pretty decent job....in my place, there is no 4g, so we either toggle between 2 or 3g and i switch to 2g when i don't use the net....i use my phone all throghout the day and still it needs to be charged every 11 hours only...comparing with htc sensation xe and xl (my cousin's phones)...this does make a difference...so smart actions is completely legit..but i read in one another post of this forum that it had some problems with the gps related actions..but otherwise its awesome
