I'm not sure - ICS has some native support for HDMI, so hopefully it'll be doable. It would be easier if any Qualcomm phone comes out with official ICS. I haven't tried HDMI on stock froyo - does it work well? Does it work in every application - i.e. is it a screen mirror? Or only when playing media?

I used it quite a bit on the stock rom. It's a pretty awesome feature to have for those who like to stream netflix, play games, display pictures & videos etc.. on their big screen.

It mirrors the screen, but only displays in 480p i believe. Not true HD but still awesome to have. Even better if CM9 supports 720p. Not sure if it does.

HDMI works pretty flawlessly in Froyo, and it's a screen mirror. If this problem could get solved then Cheers!!! :)

This might seem really lame but can we get the 1% battery mod and then if possible the circle battery icons possibly by mrvirginia (s.p?). The percentage setting doesn't work when I set it in the Settings so possibly this mod and a change of icons can get it working. It seems simple just I can't find the original post with the files you have to package in the systemui.apk anymore.

Hey yumbrad thanks again for helping get the ics rom working. I was wondering what this poll has told you and where your going from here in regards to a working camera hdmi etc. thanks :)

Camera is definitely popular, and tricky... if I'm able to get any time, I'll tackle that one. I wrote an HDMI/hdcp stack at my previous startup, so I'd also like to see if that's a matter of coding or if it's a closed binary that performs some hardware setup incantation that can't easily be reproduced.
