There were some links to get it but they're gone as the nexus is not yet supported. Anybody have the apk?
Does the swype keyboard lag like the stock keyboard? And is it just me, or is the lag worse when it is in landscape mode? (Flipped to either side)
Supposedly the next official "beta" will include GN support its due out any day.
Only problem being im out of my allotted phone changes for my email
didn't even know there was a limit
reg with a different e-mail?
Yeah that is what I'll have to do...unless they changed it you can't change your phone more than twice
Can anyone explain why the stock Swype keyboard talk to text feature isn't Google based? I believe it's dragon diction.

Swype was bought by :"Nuance"? the company that owns dragon natural speaking. So the most recent versions use Dragon, which although i haven't tested is generally considered the best in the industry at voice to text.
Personally I think its a good thing.
Please note:
If it isn't preinstalled on your handset, or downloaded directly from beta.swype.com, the Swype .apk file is considered warez by Swype themselves. Please don't risk putting Android Forums in their legal team's gunsights.
Yeah there are several 3rd party keyboards that use dragon for the voice to text now another is flex9
I hope to god that the new ICS swype will NOT include the stupid language button, Im so sick and tired of hitting espanol everytime i type somthing as its right in the way on the modded-leaked version.

"By now, many of your are wondering, "Hey, so where exactly is this next beta update?"
Though the overall amount of bugs is dwindling, we are addressing a few issues here and there and are simply unwilling to release this beta prematurely - the last thing we want is for your user experience to suffer as a result of a hasty release on our part. You can rest assured that we are as excited to release this next beta as you are to receive it, and we are working hard to smash these last few bugs.
We do appreciate your patience greatly, and thank you for bearing with us."
"We will be updating this forum as soon as the next beta download becomes available. Additionally, Swype will notify you that an update is available.
Keep in mind that updates may take up to 72 hours to arrive on your device. You will receive an update notification the next time your device checks in to the Swype Connect service. If you would like, you can manually initiate this process by pressing the "Refresh" button in the "Swype Connect" section of Swype Settings, though your update request may be deferred based on server load. If you feel that your device is taking too long to update, do keep an eye on this but please wait at least 72 hours before reporting update failures on the forums.
Thanks!"
Can we remove the Swype installer once the official Swype has been installed?
Is there any real need for it?
I thought there was a way to have Swype use Google's Real-time dictation instead of Dragon. Anyone know how to do this?
Or do I have to change my keyboard back to Google input everytime?
With the keyboard up, you can drag down the notification and select voice typing from the available input options. Doing so will allow you to use the voice actions, then quickly go back to swype when done.Or do I have to change my keyboard back to Google input everytime?
