Anyone else recently order a MAXX and still waiting on it?

Razr MAXX was sold out at all local Verizon stores, so I ordered one online last week on the 8th.

And now we're going on the 15th....and when I check my status on VZW's website, the order is 'still processing. Please check back tomorrow.'

Seems like a hell of a long time to be processing an order? I know the phone went on backorder for a bit last week, but then had inventory replenish towards the end.

Any explanation for this? Or is it just a matter of being more patient since the phone is sought out currently?

If it were me, I would call customer service for the on-line Verizon store and ask for a status on my order. I ordered mine in store and it was shipped to me. When I got home, I had an email from Verizon stating my order had shipped and it provided me with the FedEx tracking number...

Wait, Verizon shipped to my old address. They have to attempt delivery this afternoon and then I can go to the local FedEx facility to pick them up.

What I can't understand is how Verizon can send my bill to the right address but the equipment notsomuch.

Alright, guys.

Update. Called them right now.

Had the lady double check EVERYTHING. Payment was processed and went through just fine. There were no secret agreements that needed to be agreed to.

She mentioned that there might be some computer or system error with the warehouse that is holding the package from being released and shipped.

And saying something about manually having to force it through.

Hopefully this fixes this.... *sigh*

I walked into a store yesterday. Shipped yesterday and at the house today....
Yes for those of you who have seen my posts. I had the MAXX returned it because
I thought I might have had an emergency. But all ended well. So I was able to keep the MAXX. Let me tell you after going back to the Razr, I knew I had to go back to the MAXX

I just went to verizonwireless.com to check and the razr maxx says will ship by 2/20. so they are backordered again

I don't know why the website says "will ship by 2/21". I called verizon cs yesterday and the lady told me the warehouse has thousands. I ordered my Maxx yesterday at 4:00pm EST and it's on the FedEx truck already this morning.

I have a business account. The local store was out of stock, so I ordered one online yesterday. It said it would ship on the 20th, but it came today!

Ordered mine Tuesday night, got the processing confirmation Wednesday morning for delivery no later than 7:00PM Friday. Had to work, and it figures FedEx tried to deliver during the brief time my roomie was out for an appointment. Dang it!!!

But, hopefully it will arrive today... while I again have to work, and yes, yet again have to hope my roomie is home when FedEx comes.

Every single place I looked was out our backordered...except for rsdioshack online. They were actually cheaper than Verizon even with my 50 credit.

Radioshack was offering the maxx for 279... Plus free activation plus free overnight shipping.

No such thing as a valid activation fee unless you are moving to VZW from somewhere else. Usually you can just ask to have it removed.

Idk... Just speaking to the fact that when you go to sign up on VZW.com... They charge an activation fee.

I thought that was pretty lame so maybe you just need to specifically ask to have it removed...

That was showing up on my account, so I just went in-store to see if they had any stock... none, so I just had them order in-store, no activation fee.

Ordered mine on the 3rd got it on the 14th..... Nice phone I got the otter box defender case and all snapped in good and tight but forgot to install my 32GB Sd card could not get the otter box to open no matter what I tried way to tight ended up scratching the side of my phone cause I had to break it off. Pissed the hell out of me.. These cases need a button to release these or a bigger slot to fit a dime in..
