I have bought a SH Nexus One... yeah, SH, but the price was just perfect, the phone is in perfect aesthetical condition and I have known the seller for a long time so I know I haven't paid for a bricked device). So, before I blast the phone with apps, I want to flash the phone with a good working ROM. I have had a Galaxy Mini before, which I rooted and flashed myself, so I know some of the basic rooting / flashing procedures. The seller flashed the phone to a modified version of ICS (TexasIce ROM if I remember correctly) which I find great-looking but laggy. That's why I want to reflash it and I need your opinion on some good ROMs for my N1.

My only preferrence would be a ROM which isn't laggy (well, at least not laggier than the stock ROM) and a ROM which doesn't affect the functionality of the phone (I really don't care if Gapps won't work, but I DO mind if the camera or gallery will be bugged).

P.S: I surfed the internet for some other ROM reviews and I found that Cyanogen 5.0.3 and MIUI would be just what I'm looking for, but those were old posts so maybe there's something better now.

Thanks for spending your time here!

So to make things clear. Did the shopkeeper changed ur system partition while flashing texasice ics rom? Or he just flashed normally?
Cos all ics roms needs repartitioned system space.
Speaking about GB roms... u can try
OxygeN1mod finale version
Medroid 7.2
Cyanogenmod 7.1
Or latest MIUI.us
it depends on ur preference...
