Does the Skyrocket come with Gorilla glass?

If so...any point in getting a screen "protector" which adds bubbles and takes away the beauty of the whole screen? Are screen protectors the new condom? Most are meh at best.

I put the screen protector that came with my otterbox commuter case but I was so anxious to play with the phone i put my fingerprints all over screen before applying it and ended up with some small bubbles around the edges. wasn't able to wipe off all the dust I guess. But they aren't really visible when the display is on. Kinda didn't wanna put one on but having it on puts me at ease and not freak out about every little smudge I get on the screen.

Yes, the screen is gorilla glass. I decided to go with no protection so far. The glass is very slick without any protector installed which I like, makes for faster swipes. I use a cloth that came with my laptop to clean it, so far no scratches.

I've heard both - i.e. that it is gorilla glass and that it is not gorilla glass. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything confirming for sure that the Skyrocket has GG (CORNING

It states gorilla glass, and while I have it in my pocket, there aren't any scratches displayed from being in there or grinding my nails on the screen, BUT there is a test on youtube where someone heavily scratched the skyrocket's screen with a key to prove it wasn't gorilla glass.....so idk

It is not gorilla glass i found a video proving it a few days ago. The best screen protector is the zagg ones that are military grade. Im in the service and use it on all my phones...have best buy put it on and they are guaranteed for life

I believe GG is scratch resistant, not scratch proof.
So, if you try to put scratches in it for a test, you'll probably succeed.

Get yourself a Boxwave Crystal Clear screen protector and you will never use another brand. No bubbles and crystal clear. Very easy to install.

No, the screen is not gorilla glass. I don't know why they'd make this phone without it, but they did.

Gorilla glass scratches, have a friend who got the razor and day one her 2 year old got a hold of her phone and scratched it all up. I had zagg cover on previous phone and one of my car keys scratched right through it and scratched screen.

I'm in the military and use zagg and my phone goes thru a lot... Never an issue

Im using the Zagg one myself. Wasn't hard to install, no bubbles and best of all it doesn't take away from the display.
