Help Best browser??

I had not used the stock browser since about 15 months ago as I had Dolphin on my Captivate. But when I upgraded to the S2, I just never have gotten around to installing Dolphin. I pretty much agree with Genius. The latest iteration of the Android browser is very fast and works well. There are not as many bells and whistles but it seems snappier to me.

What is the best browser for my S2? Lookin at Opera and Dolphin. Either of these faster than the stock browser?
to me, since google is so full of sites who pay to be pushed to the top, searching for legit sites is basically impossible. for example, if you want the real, official gm web site for cadillac, it may be on page 3 or 4.

i like the following site because it is secured, does NOT plant cookies, does not track, and is httpS. HOWEVER, once you go off of it, it is not encrypted OR secure. always look for the httpS at the top of the web address.

the link for mobile phones, which is ad free: https://www.startpage.com/m/

the link for pcs, also ad free: https://startingpage.com/

startpage uses google as its engine, and yes, google has more "hits", but 99% of google is crap and advertising and paid sites which are usually irrelevant, but prominent just because they paid to be put at the top.

i rarely search on my phone, and have my location turned off, remember form data turned off, cookies turned off, pop ups turned off, passwords turned off, etc. to improve security. however, we all know we can be tracked. i just want to HELP improve my security.....

i have posted many, many blogs here on security and using direct web links to mobile news sites INSTEAD of using apps when possible to increase security, save ram, cpu and battery life because 99.9999% of free apps and even paid apps run 24/7, turn on after you force close them, and are datamining whores which spy on your other bookmarks, contacts and apps to datamine. this uses a lot of ram and battery, fyi.

I've been playing with Dolphin on my SGII, but the stock browser is pretty good as well. Just depends on what you want as Dolphin has some extra bells and whistles but that doesn't really matter to me. The stock browser on this phone is way better then previous stock browsers I've used on Droids before.
