Hey guys. My phone won't charge up anymore. I have to plug it in at a mad angle to get it to an then it takes forever! I am on 3 UK and they have always been good with repairing my phones even if i have had them 18 months. It is rooted so if I decide to take it the shop will I have to run a repair via seus to get rid of root access? Thanks in advance

Help USB charging port/charging problems

If you want to unroot then you can try and just use SEUS or PC Companion and do a repair/reflash...but if that doesn't work then it will take a little more work.
You have to flash to an older version of Android, like 2.1, then use SEUS or PC Companion to repair.
If your phone has a newer version of Android then it probably won't let you repair/reflash.

Am on 2.3 amin rom v2. I hope its just straight forward an all's I have to do is repair. My contract is up soon too so don't have to persevere to long. Thanks

OK so my charger is really busted an am using a charger from a xperia ray. But when I connect to my PC it doesn't recognise my phone an I don't get the option to mount. I have tried reinstallling PC companion and Seus, and installing new drivers. Nothing is reconising the phone. I need to do this so I can take it to my network to get fixed but its rooted. Meh!

If the phone won't plug into your Windows computer and mount, not much you can do I am afraid.
If the port on the phone itself is busted, it is going to be difficult to flash it.
Maybe just do a factory reset in the phone menu and bring it in to them and play stupid. I don't know what else to suggest....anyone else have any other suggestions?
