Best Tablet?

Depends on what you're looking for and what's your price point..
Yep, i agree.
If you're looking for something under $200, then, Ainol Tablets will be the best at the moment(I love my ainol novo 7 ELF:p). and Zenithink tablets also be good choices.

Actually, if price is a major concern then amazon Kindle fire is tops. I don't think price is a concern for the op though. A good development community is a big factor if you really want the best, because software can make all the difference when tablets have similar hardware specs.

I haven't had an opportunity to try the Transformer Prime. I do own the original Eee Pad Transformer. I was deciding between the Transformer and iPad 2. My impression of these two tablets is that the iPad 2 was a bit better for web browsing non-Flash sites. The various gestures are a bit more intuitive than the Transformer. For instance, a mouse over action on the iPad 2 is done by tapping on the object. On the Transformer (and other Android devices), you need to long tap and drag your finger in some direction. On the iPad 2, a pinch to zoom action on a video will maximise it. On the Transformer, pinch to zoom only zooms as much as you want. To maximise, you have to tap on that tiny maximise button on the corner of the video.

If you plan to get a keyboard with your tablet, like me, I think the Transformer + keyboard dock package is better than the iPad 2 with any existing keyboard. The Transformer's keyboard dock is just more tightly integrated with the Transformer than any iPad 2 + keyboard accessory I have seen. The keyboard in addition to being a really good keyboard also has a battery pack to extend the life of your Transformer, has two, full-sized USB ports and a full sized SD Card slot. It also acts as a pretty good screen cover and tilting stand.

I ultimately got the Transformer and keyboard because I do a lot of typing while online. I do not feel that a touch screen keyboard can be anywhere near as good an input device as a physical keyboard. If you do a lot of typing, I would recommend you consider the Transformer + keyboard.

Me just throwing my 2 cents...I've read about ASUS Prime and I'd love to upgrade to that one for the specs. I have the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I do love this one too but I hate how they mad the external micro sd slot adapter. If you want more games/apps you have to go with Ipad 2 or wait for the 3. hope that helps with my brief post.

Galaxy Tab video play isn't always the nicest I will admit but nothing too bad plus the video players that come stock are great IMO. I do however use MX Video. The tablet does not feel cheap at all. The plastic is really nice and if you decide to get a case you won't tell anyways. My favorite part about the Galaxy Tab is the wide screen view, super light and thin (lighter and thinner than Ipad2 lol I throw that in my friends faces all the time)

i can't speak for any other android tablets out there but i have the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it's an awesome device for media consumption. netflix, web browsing, games, youtube, music, you name it.
my tab is no replacement for my laptop by a longshot but it makes couch surfing a whole lot more comfortable.

although now i kinda wish i held off for the Prime or more of the new Tablets soon to be out. but i'm pretty sure no matter which one i get something Bigger and better will be around the corner lol.

so my vote: Galaxy Tab 10.1
