Help need help with verizon

I have a verizon stratosphere and I want to root it. I have tried many things. The superoneclick. That constantly won't even boot up. I tried the apks pack which is from z4root. I rebooted and put it in debugging and same nothing. So I am kinda stuck on what to do? which of the forums would work? :eek:

I agree with the above two links supplied. They are full of info and between this site and rootzwiki you should be able to find everything that you need. I rooted my Strat using the same info and it has been working flawlessly since.
