It's very annoying! It seems to freeze up as soon as I hit send and it stays on for about 30 seconds and then reboots. Happens at least a few times a day. Also, it happens on the stock ROM and custom ROMS. Any thoughts?

[Verizon] Has anyone found a fix for the constant reboots when making phone calls?

I haven't had that happen and haven't seen other reports of that here. That doesn't mean there aren't others having it happen, but it may be a hardware problem with your phone.
Especially if it's happening on stock and custom ROMs. I assume you've tried clearing the data for the dialer app?

I would say it was software caused by bad hardware type of a problem. I've had random reboots but I know why and its not from calling someone.
Another phone mite be in your cards.

I have had the dialer keypad freeze up after entering a couple of digits and then it says Contacts not responding...wait or close. But mine doesn't reboot.

Have you downloaded anything o your "sd card" lately, as in before you started having this problem? Could be a corrupted file/filesytem on your "sd card" causing your rebooting problem.

Never had this issue. I have had one random reboot though. No biggie. I would have one a week with my bionic

I just installed Code Name Android 1.5 last night. We'll see if that solves anything. This will be the 4th ROM I've installed trying to fix it...
