unable to play gamevil apps unless im online. help please

ive noticed im unable to play gamevil apps unless im connected online. if not connected i get a message and i have to exit

i get this message from cartoon wars: please delete data converting program before launching the game

i get this message from zenonia 4-modifying program informaiton will result in legal prosecution. please delete the program and try again.

i literally just got this phone 2 days ago and ive only a few apps, all of them games ive gotten from the marketplace. theyre popular games too so i dont think i have a virus

I can't find much info about those error messages unfortunately, sorry. Are you sure they were purchased legitimately, via the market?

ya im pretty sure. i got my phone from tmobile directly, samsung exhibit ii 4g

i just clicked on the app that says market, im pretty sure its the right one lol.

I'm pretty sure there are modded games like Baseball Superstars 2012 and Zenonia 4 for offline use. Try googling the titles and add the word "Mod" or "Offline". I hope this helps.

Regarding this one. Try downloading the latest version of Gamecih. I think it's 3.0

If there are modded versions floating about online, best not to install. Devs can be touchy about their apks being modified and I'm pretty sure it breaches certain copyright laws too, that's not something we condone here at AF.

Sorry, regarding this one too, I would also be very skeptical of downloading from a dev which encourages you to download via their website, not the Android Market. The GameCIH page asks you to do exactly that and we've had issues with apps like that before.

Sorry, I'm not trying to rubbish your responses, just looking out for the best interests of the OP.

Oh, I'm sorry. But regarding Gamevil applications, "Offline" isn't one of their options YET. Applications on the market requires internet connection. If the TS wants to have that option, I would recommend google and find other options.

I suggested the TS to download this one 'cause of the error he mentioned on his earlier post. He would not be experiencing this error if not for 3rd party applications such as Gamecih. I recommended an updated Gamecih 'cause I KNOW an outdated one would 'cause such trouble. I KNOW, 'cause I've experienced it, even with the updated one.

I'm sorry btan, but if you can wait, let's just hope Gamevil devs update their apps for offline use. I'm sorry to disappoint you but, currently, their applications available on the android market are not YET for offline use. Let's just hope updates are soon to follow regarding internet connection. I know it sucks, but hey, waiting ain't so bad. BTW, I am a little impatient so I guess I may have downloaded "modded" ones just to cure the itch whenever I'm on the go.

The search bar would be a lot of help.

I would delete the apps and try re downloading them. Also, you don't have GameCIH installed, do you? That app modifies games and might cause the errors you see. I also have a personal belief that GameCIH is buggy and/or filled with malware. I did not have a pleasant time when I checked it out.

That tells you it's an old version and for the latest version to download from his website. To me, that's an instant alarm bell. Why not just update the market version?

I've been using gamecih for atleast a month or two now and I have not experienced any problems with it. Perhaps you don't know how to use it?

You go to Settings, Manage Applications, look for an application called GameCih. If you don't know how to use it, uninstall.

Android is based of Linux, Lunix is opens source therefore no copyright laws apply in the conventional sense feel free to mod and reverse engineer anyone who says otherwise is trying to decieve you. All android phones have the Open Source License document in about phone under legal information for you to read
