This issue here has NOTHING to do with the display! It's the touch panel! The axis flipping is a software issue that can be easliy fixed. The panel happens to be a Synaptics ClearPad 2000. A high quality part that's been around a few years and is found on other htc handsets.
I think you are jealous of how good the N1's (or any AMOLED) screen is. You have a Motorola Droid and just can't stop putting down the N1 any chance you get. Why the hate? We are supporting Android here and that is what matters.
I've notice ever since the N1 came out, not only was it attacked from all fronts, but also from other Android users. The bulk of which are Droid users. I'm not saying all, just a nasty few. As a G1 user from the very start, there were better handsets released during the time I owned it. I never felt bitter about new Android handsets that was better than my G1. There will always be better handsets coming out... always. It is an endless cycle. So deal with and stop posting BS!
