Help Lite Flow with custom notification sound

I'm setting up Lite Flow (lite) and I really like it. Except I use a custom tone for SMS messages. The sound is stored under sdcard/Ringtones on my G'Nex. I had it set through Handcent with a blue light.

When I try to set it to that tone in Lite Flow, it doesn't show up. It only shows the ones that are built in to the read only part of the memory. If I try to paste the file into that folder, it doesn't let me (I'm not rooted).

Any way to fix this? If I disable the notification on Lite Flow's end-- will Handcent's setting pick back up, or will I get no notification for SMS?

Thanks!

Ok, so it needs to be in sdcard/notifications to show up in that list. There's so many different folders that correspond to ringtones/ notifications/ alarms that it's hard to tell which is the right one without someone telling you or testing each one. Maybe this will help someone else. lol.

I have my custom sounds saved to both my ringtone folder And my notification folder. That being said I actually don't use the sound setting in light flow. I just set the ringtone in the app and the color I want in light flow. So I use the individual app for my sound and then I use light flow for my led light.

I do the same. I just use stock way of setting tone, and just use Lightflow for LED's.

Oh ok, so if you don't check the sound notification box in Light Flow, then it will still default to what you have set in the actual application/ system settings? I was thinking that if you enabled the notification at the top that it took over for everything and that if sound was unchecked, it would just have no sound.

Correct. None of my "Enable Sound" in Lightflow are checked.
