Well I couldn't wait any longer so I went ahead and ordered them both tonight. That wraps up my list for now until I decide to get a 32/64GB card. DW might ban me from these forums for a while.

Exactly. They look great as you see from the pics posted here. They do a great job protecting from scratches. The screen protector is great also and minimizes fingerprints (do not read as "prevents"). As long as you have a steady hand, patience and a blow dryer, installation is a breeze.

Mine just showed up yesterday. So far, I am very happy with it. The Prime fits in it very securely, it can be flipped around and set up multiple ways and the quality seems to be pretty good. I added a 3-pack of cheap styluses to the order to get it over $25 for free shipping. ;)

I took your advice and bought the same one. It was either this one or the rooCase. The reason I was turned off from the rooCase was having to open it just to charge it. Doesn't make any sense if you ask me. Quick question for you though if you don't mind, someone here mentioned something I'm familiar with from my cell phone and that is if any part of the inside of the case is plastic and it's touching the tablet it will inevitably scratch the casing, my cell phone is proof. Does the inside of this one have plastic or is it felt?

(This is a repost from another case thread.)

I really, really enjoy the Minisuit I got from Amazon (where I also purchased my Prime & docking keyboard). Here's the item title, " MiniSuit ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 / TF700T Leather Keyboard Portfolio Stand Case Cover for TF201 Mobile Dock and Tablet (Brown) - LCD Cleaner Included". I'm sure you can find it easily doing a search on these terms if interested.

You just pop two snaps that are easily accessible and the tablet is quickly separated from the keyboard and just as simple to re-attach. It is made from beautiful leather (the brown goes very well with my 'amethyst grey' Prime) and there is no noticeable chemical odor. When all attached, I have had no problems, unit opened or closed, with accessing the power, docking ports or cameras. I have had mine for a few months and have by no means explored every need a user might have, but in my experience using it many hours every day, in its suit, keyboard on, using the front-facing camera for Google Hangouts, I've had no problems whatsoever with the case. Also, the side of the folio that could hold a pad of paper stays shut magnetically, is a good layer of protection and is a very useful support for the screen, always holding it in place on my lap or a seat.

What cases are you using?

I bought my case shortly after getting my tablet. I love the fact it can be charged with the case in place. The texture of the leather make it easy to hold and it starts firmly on the service. I wish there had been more colors as black can be boring but it is professional in appearance. Here is the link. I only paid $25.00 with shipping.

Product description:

MoKo(TM) Premium Quality Slim-Fit Folio Cover Case with built-in Multi-Angle Stand for Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 10.1-Inch Android Tablet

I use the Swiss Gear mini bag that has compartment for cables and accessories. It also has two zippered compartments that I use one for my tablet and the other for my kindle. I got it at staples for $39.99

so many choices I can not decide!!
What I would like

-speaker area to have a cut out not holes
-multi angle support (hoping one of the angles makes it easy to type on the screen)
-switch from portrait to landscape
-not funny smell
-protect the sides
-cant cover the charging port when closed
-openings for ports power and volume rocker
-it would be cool if it had a sleeve in the inside
-protection obviously important ( I am used to using otterboxes on my smartphone, I have got one on my galaxy nexus) I would like to keep this tablet with a thin profile I am looking to just being able to protect it from dings, bumps and being able to keep in my briefcase not worring about it shifting around in there.
-Going for a nice looking leather finish good quality work in a business environment

Hope I am not to picky lol

AMEN! to all of that!

I started off with one of these: Navitech Genuine Black Bycast Leather Flip Open Carry: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

But I find it quite bulky, and as the cover doesn't fold right back I was always taking it out of the case.

So then I got one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/GreatShield...1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336731584&sr=8-1-fkmr1

And it hasn't been out of the case since - except when my GPS dongle arrived! Very nice and sturdy.

Interesting - I started off with a Poetic case but just ordered this same GreatShield case last week because I got tired of having to open the Poetic case to charge it. There are a handful of other cases on Amazon nearly identical to the GreatShield one, but this one was $5 cheaper...

I think it's great. I don't think the Poetic one is available in the UK or I would have gone for that one. I'm glad now because I hadn't realised that you'd have to remove the tablet to charge it - this one has a cutout for that. It's smart, elegant, snug and strong. Not bad at all! I'd recommend it highly.

I have tried these:

1
(1) eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
- Great case, very handy, not bulky and easy to carry around.

1
(2) eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
- Original Asus TF 201 Sleeve. I prefer the one above because of the overall cover / protection it gives. Have the sleeve as a standby.. lol

1
(3) eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
- This one was a bit of a disappointment. With the keyboard, its difficult to dock the tablet when inside the case.. The leather takes up too much space between the tablet screen and dock and its impossible to fix. Applying pressure might destroy the dock latches, I think and of course I didn't try applying pressure.

Without the keyboard dock, the case for the tablet alone is OK but it ends up having bit too much space and not fitting well (like the first one)...

Cheers.

Should be no problem still fitting in the case.

I don't think the skinomi adds much protection value. The screen is gorilla glass anyway, why not enjoy touching the actual screen.

Apparently I'm not happy with anything I get...

I didn't like the Poetic case because you had to open it to charge and it wasn't very slim or attractive with the material covering most of the bezel area. I just got in the GreatShield one that exposes most of the bezel, but the small nubs that hold the back part to the unit are poorly crafted, and I have to press the front cover against the screen to get the "latch" to slip over the edge of the tablet and secure itself. I don't like that design because I fear that with frequent use it will start to show wear on the screen where it touches and edge of the tablet that it slips over.

Basically, I'm want someone to manufacture something closer to this:
Amazon.com: KHOMO DUAL CASE: Green Polyurethane Smart Cover FRONT + GreenPoly-carbonate BACK Protector for Apple iPad 2 new iPad 3 (The new iPad HD): Computers & Accessories

The green is ugly, but the case design is near-perfect. It has varying viewing angles, and secures around the lip of the tablet just enough that it looks nice. If anyone knows someone who makes something similar for the Prime, please let me know. And no, I don't want just a back cover/slip case combo...
