So I've tried Franco 18.2 on stock 4.0.4 for a few days now, and haven't found any noticeable increase or decrease in battery life, even when keeping CPU speeds fairly conservative. Bummer =(

Since I have little to no input on M1, might as well bite the bullet and flash M2 and see what I get so I can share something with you guys.
Currently running AOKP M4 with the stock kernel.
I noticed that Franco changed his recommended color values in the latest Milestone, specifically to much smaller values (old values were 229, 262, 307; new values are 180, 192, 200). Does anyone recall him saying why the values were dropped? I ask because while I like the old settings (they were very "cool" colors, with whiter whites), I am concerned that with such a high value for blue (307), the screen's ability to display blue may wear down prematurely. This concern is based on literature that states that with OLED displays, the blue sub pixels have the shortest lifespan.
Did Franco mention anything about this?
Guys, I just flashed Franco 110 nightly and I don't see the Turtle governor. How does one enable this option? Attached screen print. Also, is anyone undervolting and what are your recommended mV settings for the different CPU frequencies?
Any suggestions on an application (preferably free) to use with this kernel.
M3 is up :eating:
Nothing has matched M2 on my GN, we'll see if 3 can match it after I put it through the ringer this coming week!
I found this from our mild mannered friend Google. It may help youcould someone explain the different govenors on M3? i mean what is lazy, i knw hotplug kill core1 when the screen in off but lazy?
It is presently (and somewhat 'pastly') my choice of kernel for the GN. Love it :thumbup:How is m3 treating you so far?
Great thanks. I may give it a go again. Looking for a bit more battery life. What governor do you run with it?
Thanks!
Interactive on M3. OnDemand on M2. No tweaks just install it and run. Lovely!
Sweet gonna check it out. Thanks!
If you feel like sticking it out (I see a lot of people install it and they just don't give it a chance for one reason or another then uninstall it...), give it 2 charge cycles. The 1st day with M3 I was "meh maybe I should go back to M2" (which is awesome as well). The next day I was "yeah!"
I don't know what it is about letting a kernel "settle" or whatever one wants to call it, but I believe
I hear you and definitely will give it a go for a few days. Curious why you don't run hot plug and chose interactive?
Thanks again man!
