Hi,

I've had a Samsung Galaxy S2 now for a few months and almost every time I place a call (or receive one), the person on the other end of the line complains that they can hear an echo of their own voice. I'm not using a protective case on my phone.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks

the internal microphone and speakers are NOT isolated as best they can be. either the isolating material has slipped, allowing voice to echo thru the inside of the phone, crashing into the mic causing echo, or there was never enough isolating material to begin with.

So I can be assured that it's definitely not a software problem? Possibly something to do with noise reduction?

Of course it has to do with noise cancellation,if you disable the upper mic via noise cancellation you will won t have the echo.
TO disable the noise cancellation press menu key when you are in an call and then you have a option to disable it.The bad thig is that you have to do this every time you recive or start a call.
