Root My Best Battery Life Ever! How About You?

So you're over here complaining about your reboots too?!!?! :p

Just FYI, you cannot run any AOSP kernel with MikG. As far as the Evo goes, there are AOSP ROMs and you can only use AOSP kernels with them. Then there are Sense ROMs and you can only use Sense kernels with them. With MikG you should be able to use either the stock kernel, or use freedom, chopsuey, lionfish (which is built from freedom), or anthrax. There might be more?

The above + goldenmonkey are Sense kernels

Yes, I realized that...just didn't realize that Tiamat was AOSP.

1 day, 14 hours...
- 2 hours, 24 minutes of the screen being on (mostly texting, maybe 30 minutes of web browsing, and 20 minutes of a west wing episode)
- syncing one Gmail account
- syncing weather once every 30 minutes
- listened to music (stock app) for about 30 minutes
- 15% left.

running NoLiMiT06 v1.2.2 with the stock kernel. i did like MikG 3.1 but the battery life was slightly worse, and it took up almost 100MB more to install than NoLiMiT06. i'm using Go Launcher with Minimalistic Text and Simple Calendar, and the RAM usage appears to be about the same between NoLiMiT and MikG (roughly 200MB with cached processes like Maps, Gmail, those two widgets, and other things open).

i'll take it. after flashing 5 or 6 different ROMs, i'm okay with this one for the time being. i hope nothing else piques my interest.

After doing more tests it appears that my average battery life varies between about 36-48 hrs with anywhere between 15-20% battery life remaining. These values come from me using my phone daily with browsing, email syncing, and playing games. It's nowhere near 4 days like my original post shows which leads me to believe that was just a fluke after all.

Although it would be nice to get an average of 4 days of battery life, the stats I'm getting with 36-48 hrs is still better than any combo I've used so I'm content with that. :)

Thanks for the update!! Still quite amazing!!

I posted a few days ago a battery lasting (on MikG 3.11 (Sense ROM), with 2000 mAh Galilio battery) 33 hours. The next 2 days I had "only" about 18 or so. Really depends day to day, use to use and signal strength to signal strength. A LOT of variables! But, like you, I'll get that phenomenal 33 hour or so "fluke" that shows up every once in a while! ;)...but NEVER when I need it!!
