I mean you aren't really being a copy cat and if you are then so am I and the countless other people that have moved on to T-mo :p

ziggy could you explain please how private information could be leaked, i was considering letting my friend take over my 25 dollar plan

If it's your friend you should be fine probably. Just one thing is if your giving them your plan then you won't be able to port your current number to T-mo. Anyways as far as data goes your account has your address and stuff that's probably what he means...

If enough of you guys leave, the rest of us might actually get halfway somewhat decent speeds :D
I agree, go leave VM please. JK! :p But seriously, its a preference. Someone like me doesn't have enough money to switch. We guys are stuck with the best phone on the line for $25/mo or $35/mo. Eventually if Virgin Mobile keeps kicking us under, we can leave the service all together. :)

Haha! I'm doing the same exact thing!

I'm actually keeping it for another couple months till I get the money, I want to get the S2 Nexus for T-Mobile. The AT&T Nexus can be modified to run on T-Mobile 4G FYI.

My ebay sales is going to be so epic though.

*1 flawless phone*
*2 back plates for phone*
*4 batteries for phone*
*original packaging*

4 batteries..

:D

I'm 15 and I currently have $-100, I can't afford to be buying anything.

All my birthday money goes to resolving the $-100, thankfully I have some money coming in ($50) also.

I can't afford to buy yours, plus I suck at reselling and your price is to steep already. You should make it $200.

im only 15 too :p haha and thats why the price is too steep. i want to get it sold so i can hurry up and get a new phone.... $200 is too low though, what do you guys think would be a slightly better price for it? :(

would $230 be better? since it does come with extras...

I knew you were 15, you already mentioned it in the thread (I read all the posts before posting).

$200 is a good start for an auction, I don't honestly think you could get much more though..

i got the sensation 4g today and it is wicked although i hate sense 3.5 or w.e. it came with. looking at some roms for it but seems way more complicated compared to my 2 vm phones ive owned :(

Sense 3.6 close enough lol. And HTC phones are generally more complicated to get stuff installed than other phones. Especially comparing them to the MT...

Hey Ziggy,
I know you probably already have your heart set on selling your Triumph and switching over to Tmobile's $30/month plan, but here are some details for that plan that they don't want you to know:

1. If you go over your 100 minutes for the month, they automatically move you up to the next highest tier prepaid plan ($50/month) without notifying you. They also will not allow you to switch back to your $30 plan without purchasing a new SIM card. Which means every time you use 100 minutes or more per month, you have to get a new number (or go through the whole process of porting your old number), and wait for a new SIM card in the mail. Oh, plus you won't be refunded your money for the rest of the month. (If you use 101 minutes halfway through the month, you just paid $50 for half a month of service, AND you have to buy a new SIM card (which adds to that), AND AND AND you have to pay for another month before your first month was up. (Source: Prepaid Cell Plans | No Contract Plans | Text, Talk or Web | T-Mobile, speaking with Tmobile representatives, and creeping the interwebz)

2. I could be wrong on this one, but I doubt you're going to get any support from Tmobile, should you need customer service. I went into a few Tmobile stores in the past few weeks and asked about the $30/month plan, and I was told "that plan is some weird one with Walmart, so we can't help you." Again, this may just be sales reps being uninformed, but I'd be skeptical.

3. Has Virgin Mobile ever let you down? Personally, I think for the amount I pay per month for service on my Triumph, I have basically kicked VM in the nuts and stolen from them. And I'm on the $35/month plan, not the $25.

4. Before getting a VM smartphone, I always used to carry around a cheap verizon flip phone and my ipod touch. I used my itouch for everything from texting to wifi calling, and let me tell you, wifi calling is not a lot of fun. Maybe you do this now, and maybe it works great for you, but from my experience (a little different, since wifi-only device), VOIP is no walk in the park. Sure, it might be great for a house phone, but the requirement for constant internet access and constantly using your connection to listen for incoming calls eats your battery alive, and I wasn't even trying to use 3g/4g. Call quality usually sucks, there is often a delay in the line, and if you lose your connection for even a minute, you will usually miss a call that you won't always be notified of when you do get your connection back. I know my experience was not exactly what you're proposing (or maybe already do), but I would be VERY reluctant to use VOIP as my main form of communication.

Just some things to think about. I think you've done a lot for the Triumph community, and I think it will be a shame to see you go :( Either way, if you do jump ship, you'll have to let us know how your experience with Tmobile is.

EDIT: Yeah, looks like customer service is going to be a shit show (http://support.t-mobile.com/message/103106). Good luck!

You have to port your number before deactivating the phone! Don't want to lose it, ha. When I switched to an Atrix on AT&T (Straight talk, I'm cheap!), I ported the number first, then sold my phone for $190, exactly what I paid for an Atrix.... and then $10 for a battery door on ebay... not a bad deal for a "new" phone that is 3 times better, at least! Enjoy your Amaze, Ziggy, and happy Sprint-Leaving! :)

1. 100 minutes with some voip calling will suit me well, its a preference i dont talk on the phone much.

2. t mobile support > virgin mobile support every day of the week (vm reps dont even speak good english)

3. vm has let us down one to many times, txts not sending, no data, outages, etc.

4. voip works good over wifi, and i only get 3 down 1 up, 4g may have a higher ping but from what ive seen has higher download speeds.

You may check out straight talk... they sell t-mobile service with roaming, as well as at&t service with roaming.... unlimited voice minutes and texting, "4G" (I have an Atrix, it shows the H+ logo all day, and I live in a rural ish area!) and its "unlimited" data... about 3 gigs before they flag you and tell you about how to use your phone... newbs. :) their US based customer service isn't GREAT, but it is in miami, and they do understand and speak english-ish. PS- speeds are routinely 6 mpbs or more, its great!
