Hey Whyzor, maybe you should ditch Virgin mobile all together and pick up a samsung exhibit II 4g and start developing for that

We could sure use you there. I finally made the switch to Tmobile pre paid and loving it. probably gonna be putting my Triumph up for sale soon. and it has no gps issues at all!

I've been using my Triumph as media player mostly. Never had problem with videos or audios, pandora and youtubes are fine. After installing CM7 I found a strange bug that every video (xvid or mp4) freezes. And it's not software clearly, there's no force close, or freezes in the apps, it's video. I tried different apps, but result is the same. So, I searched the forum and I found out that the problem maybe with SD card. So I changed it from Class 4, to Class 6 and later to Class 10. But the movies still lag.
Any solutions?

Another bug is when headphones are plugged for a long time with no media playing, the phone kind of loses headphone connection. If you start any media, the sound goes thru speakers, so I have to unplug and plug the headphones back.

Thank you for all you've done whyzor. And g60madman i hope that mtdev takes off a bit and people continue to make MT's great. I know i never really chimed up in thread here or in the cm9 one. Mostly because i never really had issue. But if you'd like help with mtdev send me a pm i would love to help with it.

Hello hello! New to the triumph and slapped this bad boy on right from the get go! Runs pretty smooth on 61 - 1.8 interactive x (don't know if that's safe though). I was using search on this thread and was wondering if anyone has had an issue with the status bar brightness control? It doesn't seem to be working for me. Sorry if this has already been brought up. Smooth and fast rom though overall! :eek:

After updating my MT to the 3-25 Final my phone hangs on the boot screen.
I tried re-applying the Update from ClockworkMod Rec. and it still hangs at the boot screen.
Any Ideas ?

have you tried a wipe reload?

ex: The Notification Bar Power Widget Brightness button works fine for me; be sure to configure it, specifying which levels you want it to flip through when you press it (I have Auto/Dim/100% enabled).

Marty: I would redownload the ROM and CWM, reinstall CWM, wipe the phone (factory reset, Dalvik), and install CM7. Does it hang on the splash (Motorola logo) or the animation?

i like the idea but where i live there is no 4g still(benton city wa)we only have wimax for sprint. just wondering what speeds do you get

It hangs on the Splash Screen (Motorola Logo),

You didn't unzip the ROM did you. That would cause that. There're videos thatshow you what to do exactly. Many of them are linked in this thread.

Ooh no no I meant the sliding function on the status bar to control the brightness. It's under CM settings > Interface > Status bar tweaks then status bar brightness control. This feature always worked for me on the Optimus V and I loved it..

I think you can't have it the brightness set to auto.

I am having problems sending picture messages on stock messaging app. I get force closes. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I've reflashed the ROM but I was wondering if anyone had any other tips before I performed a factory reset.

Thanks for all the work put in, I'm really enjoying this ROM (Initially on reloaded 12-02-02, and upgraded today to 12-03-25). I noticed that I can't get the Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Lockscreen -> Unlock options -> "Skip on security" checkbox to take any effect. I have a pin, and would like to skip the slide to unlock feature. This seemed to work fine in Unloaded 12-02-02, but since upgrading, it seems checking/unchecking the box doesn't take any effect. Any one else have this issue? or any ideas where i could look? Thanks!

I haven't used this in awhile, so I just tried it... worked fine. sorry.

He meant that unzipping the ROM package would cause the problem the poster described.

I doubt it. what version of CWM are you using?
Try a fresh download and reflash.

It works. like dsmryder said, make sure auto brightness is not enabled.

I suppose you've tried the usual stuff... clear data for that app, fix permissions... Maybe uninstall the app and reinstall the apk?

I get amazing 4g speed for the first 100 mb then it drops to 2g which is still faster and more consistent then I ever got on VM I also have not found a dead spot yet but that remains to be seen since I regularly work in a large facility that is like being on the dark side of the moon as far as signal goes. luckily Tmobile has wifi calling and the facility has full wifi coverage. so tmobile is the way to go for me. I am in seattle btw
