Ok so I just found out this afternoon that we are hiring a new tech at my office and I was given the opportunity to give him my Bionic, so that I could take the new phone that we purchase from VZW! I need to let my work know by Monday morning which phone to order for me.

I was completely caught off guard with this decision and I just want to make sure I get the right phone. I really don't need any other distractions/problems in my life right now.

I like my Bionic, obviously it has several cons like poor battery life and the occasional freeze up which requires me to pull the battery, not to mention the loss of my 4g from time to time. I expect any phone that I get will have these same similiar issues. Right now it looks to me like the Razrr Maxx or the Samsung galaxy nexus would be the most obvious choices. I am not interested in the Iphone.

So I guess my biggest question is when the Razzr freezes up, how do reboot the phone without being able to pull the battery? I would love to hear any pros or cons that you guys can share. Look at this way. If you could go to Verizon tomorrow and buy any phone that they "Currently" sell, what would you get?

Thanks in Advance!

I moved to the Maxx after several replacement G'Nex. Plenty of people who love the G'Nex (I did too) and have no issues; however, based on my, not isolated, experience, I would choose the Maxx over the G'Nex for work. Call quality, reliability, and solid radios are important for work. The G'Nex is a great phone too, but there are enough people who have had a lot of issues with dropped calls/data, audio, freezes, random reboots etc. that I would be hesitant. The Maxx is a great phone. I was reluctant to get it, but after a couple of months of non-stop issues with the G'Nex, I am very happy! No issues. The battery is fabulous. My hub & kids are sick of me saying "look at how much battery is left" each night after going strong since 6am. I'm still amazed.

I have had this phone almost two weeks. No freezes. No reason to reboot. It has been amazing

First of all I would like to thank everyone who took the time to respond to this thread.

After some heavy research this weekend it looks to me, like the Razzr Maxx is the best choice right now. I think the Nexus was only attractive due to the fact that it is still the only device with ICS. It looks like that is about to come to an end, which IMO, will make that phone sub par, at best.

Thanks Again
