I prefer a stockish look:

160dpi with Nova Launcher

The wallpaper (called Galactic Core) swirls around and moves when you touch the screen at different angles.

I haven't posted here in awhile so here goes.

LiquidSmooth ROM to eliminate the nav bar
Apex Launcher, I also have Nova set up the same - I like them both
Beautiful Widgets clock/weather
Circle Battery
The icons were the "Circle" set posted awhile back
Live wallpaper Mood ICS Pro
LMT's "Pie" setting to replace the nav keys, which I find easier to use than the stock nav bar

Thanks jbd! I fussed with those colors a long time to get them just right. If you're interested in replicating, they are 0,119,255 foreground, 0,2,82 background and particle color 100,100,160.
