Help phone dosent like to charge in the car

Ok so it seems when i try to charge my connect in the truck or the car on the two different mobile charges it gets really hot and doesn't charge. Now if i plug it in at the house on the ac outlet charger it stays cool and charges pretty quickly. Now both chargers i have in my veichles were used on my lg esteem with no issue. So what gives? Im still waiting on my extended battery to arrive but so far im not liking the battery life and trying to recharge while im not home. Im a pretty heavy phone user while im working so its a big issue for me. Any Ideas as to why it stays cool at home and two different car chargers and two different cars gets hot and wont charge or if it does its very slow to do so?

I understand that idea but the charges for the esteem are the same ones they sell for the connect. Thats what i dont get. So Im thinking its part of the over heating or bad battery issue.

i used to have a samsung code and i rememeber to charge it in the car few times and it also got hot...
i didnt try this phone yet but is the same plug...
as soon i rememeber to do that i ll let you know what happend

Ok just to update i bought a dual port usb charger for my truck which i can charge two items off of i think thats cool. The charger has a higher output then the car charger old school one piece style with cord attached. The higher output must have been the ticket because its working like a charm right now. This is with a 3500 mah battery. Ill use the stock battery tomorrow or tuesday and update again.

I also have the 3500 that is not charging in the car.. Where did you get the charger that works for you?

the key to getting a good charger is to look for one with a high current. specifically 1000mA and up.
best solution i found was a power inverter with a 2A usb charger worked great. dont buy a car charger if the current is not specified on it theyre usually around 300mA and thats like getting a little kid to push a suv uphill

I have the same thing the dual USB car charger and it does work better than any other crap car charger I've tried. They sell them at Walmart of all places, go figure..

I got mine at walmart too it was like 10 bucks for the dual port 1000ma output each port. With that charger both batteries work fine the stock 1500 and the extended 3500 at least for me. With the crapy style charger its a no go on either battery.
