Opera Mini 5 Released!

The lack of flash may have me hold off on Opera right now but I did like using it on my WinMo phone. Looking forward to the mobile version for Android.

I used Opera exclusively with WinMo, but I just don't seem to like the Opera Mini. Although Dolphin is growing on me. Caddyman is luring me to the darkside.

I am becoming more and more fond of Opera... I didn't relize that it also has a cursor that is moveable with the track-ball. That makes things easier to click on... just wish it had the pinch zoom like the default browser and the double tap zoom like xScope. And im sure they will figure out that flash support is just a plugin and enable that as soon as more phones are capable of it.

Dolphin has lots more options

i like in dolphin you can swipe right or left to skip to other tabs

opera has the edge in aestetics, it sure is pretty

in opera you can go full screen and you get just as much on screen as stock or dolphin browser

i like operas quick dial page, and the tab handling is nice, still wish i could swipe though

yeah, i use dolphin but down to try anything. change is good. . . sometimes

Anyone with 2.1 having this issue? Only the stock browser is showing video links in blogs and other websites. Check out this site with your phone: Android App Review: xScope Browser | Droid Life: A Motorola Droid Blog and let me know if you see the youtube link embedded. Xscope AND Opera mini just has a blank window in the spot where the youtube still-grab should be. Also, has anyone tried to access youtube from Opera? It doesn't play the videos or prompt for which player to use.

I don't think the other browsers support flash. So ads and videos that use them aren't going to show up.
