Hello,

So I have a Rooted Evo 3D with a screen this is possessed all of a sudden. When I unlock the screen it keeps pressing the end button nonstop as if something is touching it .Tried wiping it clean and so on but nothing seems t work. Gave up & took it to Sprint since I have TEP. Normally this particular store doesn't give me a hard time about being rooted but today they did.Basically told me if it was rooted that they wont be able to help.. So I left & went back to unroot. I flashed back to stock however I'm stuck at trying to use the command prompts to fast boot on a MAC.

I'm not too familiar with using Terminal for mac but according to the directions I followed it should work the same but doesn't. It kept saying the fastboot file is not on my mac.

Anyone familiar with getting S-back to on VIA Mac & using terminal?

Or has anyone encountered this screen issue before. Anyway to fix it? I really don't want to risk getting a 1.5 BOOT phone. Was lucky enough to get this phone brand new with Boot 1.4 in Dec.and made rooting ez, (although I'm aware of all the new ways to root 1.5)

(all my ROMS has same issue with screen so its def.hardware related...try telling this to a Sprint rep)

Appreciate any help in advance

It sounds like you might not be navigating to the folder where that file is located on your Mac. Make sure you are using the following fast boot command and not typing just fast boot. Use CD to navigate through folders.

Terminal Guide

I ended up finishing the process at work on my windows pc. But thanks anyways. I have to learn this terminal stuff to root my transformer prime and that guide makes it clear how to use terminal.

Thanks!
