Has anyone been able to add a citibank card to a rooted stock OS (4.0.2)? and if so what root method did you use?
For the past couple of days I have been trying to add my citibank card to my google wallet account and I keep getting a "Error adding card" message. My phone is the stock OS rooted using the clockwork method. This issue has nothing to do with the prepaid card issue that is still going on. I have talked to both citibank and google support about this. Citibank sees my connection to activate but it fails for whatever reason and they are escalating it to their IT support, so I'm waiting on that. Google states that it might have something to do with the root method (which is why I am asking about the root method used). I found a post here (post #18) about google's servers reporting that it is an insecure device but I cannot confirm what is being said in that post. Curious if anyone has had a similar issue. Oh, and I installed google wallet using the web browser trick to install it directly from the market.
