This, as from what i can tell, is the most stable version, the other version was a early build this build is Bugfixes, only problem i have atm is that instagram doesnt work...but i can live without it.

I havent heard of that rom, but i do know that this is extremely stable and everything but isntagram works...and it doesnt have the premium suite...havent got around to rooting my note as it seems pointless, i rooted other phones but it doesnt seem that theirs a huge dev community for this device...
I was watching the video showing off the ICS leak and when the guy went into settings there was a menu option titled "One Handed Operation". What's that all about -- keep it clean guys

It squeezes the side of the screen in (when they keyboard's on) so you don't have to stretch your fingers beyond their max to reach the opposite side of the keypad.
I have never used it myself, but see it in the options menu on the ROM I'm running now (Objection 2).

I'm running Objection 2 ICS ROM right now and it's completely stable. Even Instagram works; seriously.
I have some trouble playing some of my super-GPU intensive games like Asphatl 6, and some Zynga games hang up a bit after you complete a turn (WWF for instance), but functionaly it's air-tight.
I went to a store yesterday. Two sales person told me that the reason Samsung has been postponing upgrade to ICS is that there are bugs. Is this really true? They suggested me to buy the Note with Gingerbread right away and forget about the ICS even it comes out. Wonder if they were just trying to sell me the product quickly.

well the build that i have is about 95% perfect. The only problem it has is that instagram doesnt work, and att is a bunch of liars, phone updates take forever because att/verizon/tmobile/sprint take forever to test them and preload their shit bloatware apps onto them. Thats why the american varient of the galaxy s2 doesnt have ICS yet, but every other dang country around the world has it on their phones.

Do Galaxy Note with ICS has these problems? I have to buy a smartphone in 1-2 weeks. I need to decide whether to wait for a Note with ICS installed or go for other phones such as Windows Phone or iPhone 4S. Thanks.
You lose out on absolutely nothing really, you get to mess with ICS early, only thing that doesnt work is instagram and the premium suite doesnt work, i have not found a single bug yet.
