Wow, I feel like a dummy. I just figured out that I can lower the amount of screens from 7 to 5. Now I got my old setup back, and more free memory (less widgets). These girls love Cyanogen more than me!
lol, this was the background that people got pissed off at Cyanogen for including in the ROM. I guess Koush didn't put it in the Droid version, heh.

He did, but since he included the modified launcher they're gone. If you want all the ones he included you can either grab what's in the wallpaper section, and search for wallpapers by prash, or pull the launcher2 from any version prior to 5.0.4. Look in /res/drawable-hdpi and pull all the .pngs and pack them in the modified launcher, push, reboot.
I won't post a link, but he still hosts the previous versions. Just use your brain to figure out what to do.
Just loaded up the Cyanogen ROM last night and really liking!
noticed however that the Corporate Calendar (stock) app appears to not be included in this ROM.....any way to change that?
would really like to find a way to include as that is what I primarily rely on (exchange)....could go back to Touchdown, but prefer the look of the stock email, calendar, & contacts apps for exchange....

You can pull the CorpCal.apk out of any of your old ROM backup files. Just do that and then busybox it over to system/app
To do this:
- Place the CorpCal.apk file in the root of your sd card
- Open command prompt on computer with usb debugging checked (you can do this in terminal emulator as well...just skip the "adb shell" code below) and make sure you mount system and sdcard (you can do this in SPRecovery but I don't know how to do it in Clockwork yet).
Now I have a question. Has anyone had trouble theming the Google search widget in the new launcher? It shows the theme I applied if you go to "Home" but if you go to "Launcher"...It looks stock when it is a widget but you can tell it's themed when your press on the search field and the keyboard pops up. Anyone else have this issue and found a corrective action?

It's back up, but don't expect many releases on the weekend. He usually posts anything new during the week, I'm guessing by tuesday-wednesday we'll have some new kernels and possibly x.3. The only thing I want is an incoming MMS fix.
as much as I like the ROM, I think I am going to switch back to Pete's for a while..
afetr 3.5 hours of my phone on and just idle with the same sync settings as Pete's I have burned 20% of my battery. usually with Petes I will hit 80% after 6-7 hours..
If anything I will reinstall Pete and then install clockwork again to back up pete's so it is easier to switch.
I hope Cyanogen can fix the Cell standby which I think is eating my battery life..
How many screens are you running? Are you using LWP? Lots of widgets?
This is where the Droid's 256MB of RAM become a limiting factor. When I had 7 screens full of widgets, and then a few apps running, it would take some seconds once I returned to the homescreen for the icons and widgets to repopulate.
Since then, I've turned the the number of screens back to 5 and am using a static wallpaper, and the behavior of Launcher2 is now the same as the regular ESE53 launcher. No more delays
I noticed the lag too, but I switched to the other launcher that was included in the ROM. I'm running the same theme you are too. I couldn't handle the lag because things started FC and it was just bad. So try the other launcher with 5 screens. I really like it. Everything is running smooth and no problems with returning home either.
And I don't think so... Check with linpack.. My MFLOPS are about 8.2 - 8.4 ish. If you're way higher then it is enabled. And JIT is a big battery eater I found..
Well, since Koush uses all of Cyanogen's work and ports it over, it looks like APPS2SD is coming next for the Nexus this week maybe. Which would mean the Droid too!
" .@jerhoyet lots of new stuff coming in the next one, including a2sd using @chrissoyars method. "
Straight from Cyanogen's twitter... That should be nice!
