hmmm who to believe... Directly from the source or from a 3rd party website... Just saying . I think VM's site is more reliable than a 3rd party site.
I could call CS but they seem to be questionable too hahahah

Will this phone have better 3g speeds, because it uses evdo rev b while the triumph only had rev a?
How much does a dual core CPU cost? Because I just read VM/Sprint never specificed what it is...so they could shaft us and put a lesser one to save money.....like how a site said took out the 3D screen, maybe the CPU also to make it cheaper :what:
took the words right of my mouth.:congrats:Will this phone have better 3g speeds, because it uses evdo rev b while the triumph only had rev a?
I was told that 4G will not be throttled. Only the 3G. I was also told there will be no soft cap for the hotspot as well since it's going to have a monthly add on of $15.
They are currently offering unlimited 4G because there are not going to be very many subscribers. I believe this is a trial period to see how well they can "revamp" Virgin Mobile.
I think once they start releasing more 4G phones, We're likely to see a soft cap/throttling.
This could change, The phone hasn't been released yet after all.
Boost Mobile will be already implanting it's own soft cap of 2.5GB for it's 3G and 4G phones from what I've heard. Virgin Mobile isn't nearly as popular nor does it have as large of a customer base. That's likely why we are getting the true unlimited...For however long it lasts.
I am guessing it doesn't have sense 4.0?
They would have had that in the announcement, I would think.
So does anyone know where I can find an online map showing Virgin Mobile 4G coverage in my area?
I tried clear.com but I got no results.
Okay, so I checked clearwire.com this time and if I am reading it correctly, there doesn't appear to be any 4G coverage in my area.
Now I'm having second thoughts about buying this phone. Seems pointless buying a 4G phone if I can't use the 4G.
clearwire I told was inaccurate about the 4g map in my city so that leads me to be skeptical of them.. I'd try sensorly (google it). The maps they use are generated by the users that upload data (I think through an app) as they travel to indicate which service is where. It's pretty ingenious.
The once u add the hotspot there well be a cap to 3.5gb then after that u well be slow down but 4g they are gone yo treat it the same as the 3g if u dont have hotspot
That's broadband2go, that's not mobile phone data.
according to sensorly, I may or may not get 4G in my area. I would hate to move up to $35 a month and not get the 4G, i'd rather stay with the Triumph and $25 dollar plan if that is the case.
Do you think Virgin Mobile will switch me back to my triumph and $25 a month if I dont get 4G in my area?
I have Ben hearing that after may 27 it will be $35 even if you grandfathered the $25 plan. Someone tell me if I'm wrong.(I may be wrong idk)
