Navi app needed for multiple addresses in a route

Hey Everyone.

I am actually starting a new courier job and am looking for some sort of navigation app which lets me enter multiple addresses for a given route for the specific day. Is there anything like this out there? Paid or free doesn't matter as I need it soon.

I have seen a couple in the market, but was wondering if any of you have experience with them.

thanks!

I'm not aware of any apps....not that I've looked... but what I've found works well for me is to use google maps on my home PC, enter all the addresses into the 'get directions" part and then save that to "my maps". Then I just open maps on my phone, click on the layers button and choose that map from 'my maps'. It will show you your route with push pins marking each location along the route. You can then click on each pushpin and get the option of directions to that location. Once you've reached that location, you click on the next one, and so forth.

It works well if say, you get all your locations at the beginning of the day and can sit down and enter them. If you are getting new ones throughout the day it may not work for you.

With Google Maps if you're already navigating somewhere you can hit menu, search and set another location to navigate and it will navigate you to one then the other one. At least I think that's what it did on a recent trip to Texas. I'm sorry that I can't say for sure as there was a lot going on but give it a try and see what you come up with. I seem to recall once where we were going somewhere and I needed to hit a gas station so I did this method and got gas then back to the journey w/o missing a beat. I may be completely making this up but that's how I seemed to recall it working.

CoPilot Live will let you do this -- you can create a route with multiple stops, and you can then optimize the route, rearranging the order of stops so as to minimize driving time.

3way beat me to the punch on this one. CoPilot is great. I use it on my Tablet (not 3 or 4G) so we can use it as a Navi system on trips. The software works great and they keep their maps updated pretty well also. You can also turn in map corrections. I think it is $9.95 on the market (Google Play.) and there is a subscription that you can get to cover traffic. I think its $9.95 per year. That might help with delivery routes also.
