2G, 3G, 4G Cover Map

I know Metropcs.com has a coverage map, but it doesn't show the 2G, 3G coverage areas. I thought this might shed some light. I don't know how accurate this is, but here are the links...

Coverage Maps | 2G-3G - USA - Metro PCS | Sensorly

Coverage Maps | 4G - USA - Metro PCS | Sensorly

Not sure what the source of those are, but according to that 4G map the entire city I'm in shouldn't be giving me 4G service right now. Sometimes I get 4 bars even. I'd definitely question the accuracy of these maps.

They have an app on google play so I think the map is based on people using their app. So if no one in your area uses their app then it will show no information or no coverage.

That's exactly how it works. The maps are based on people using their app and reporting coverage. My area showed little to no 3g when in fact I generally get great coverage throughout the Dallas area.

I used to use the Sensorly app. If you went to map it & chose metro it showed 3G right over my house & ail around me. HA! I would be lucky to get over 150 d/l. Then when you went to compare it told me that I had very poor signal, I reported it. Every place around where I live that they had on their list said the same thing & I reported them all, everyday for about a month.
