Root Clockwork Mod Recovery

How are you guys liking the touch CWM? I'm just starting to get comfortable with having a fully working CWM, and seeing some people having a lil trouble with the touch version. Can I get a lil feedback?

I enjoy being able to just scroll and touch on the screen. Things are a little more spaced out, but for good reason. Have had no issues with it. No issues using any method for booting into it.

is anyone else having issues with using either Rom Manager or Quick Reboot to boot into recovery, my phone reboots but then shows a android install like screen and then it just boots normally into the phone, I then have to go into rom manager, install CWM and then install Touch and then I can hit reboot into recovery and it will boot into recover, I do what I want to do, reboot back into the phone but if I was to go to rom manager or quick reboot and try to go into recovery it goes to back to like being broken and I have to re-install again just to get back into CWM?

The screen you are describing seems like the regular factory wipe screen (has an install looking icon the the middle of the screen). Have you tried reinstalling CWM from ROM Manager?

ya thats what it is and ya multiple times, could my root been bad and I need to re-root and then reinstall cwm through rom manager or does it have to do with the ZVA update?

I am using ZVA (via LG tool). I tried the button combo and then tried via ROM manager and both worked OK for me. Honestly I'm at a loss on your issue if installing cwm from ROM manager didn't fix it. Maybe someone else has some idea.

Currently my connect is stuck at a black screen. I'm rooted on zva and on on my wife's 1x signal phone so no time to get through 16 pages. I loaded from cement Tom manager and it rebooted to LG screen then stuck at black screen. Pulled battery and phone works now. But why can't I boot into cwm?!?!?! I flashed through rom manager if that helps. Thanks in advance guys!

Clockwork Mod Recovery working! full backup and restore

here's what i did:

root phone (pc)
install rom manager (phone)
install cwm (pc)
*reboot into recovery with rom manager twice DO NOT PRESS VOL-AND POWER BUTTONS!!! (cwm boot loop)
*wipe cache partition
backup and restore>backup
backup complete!

*this is the one that i forgot to do
works 100%, i have tested 3x
if its not working for you read post 48 http://androidforums.com/4119181-post48.html
I tryed this and when i got to the 4th step, I tryed to reboot into recovery using Quick Boot.. phone shut off, now i cant seem to turn it back on..
when i connect to wall charger the 4 buttons flash (Home button, back button, Search..)
Im not sure how to get my phone back on.,everything was going smooth til i booted into recovery.. :(

Edit: Pressed Vol. Down and power at the same time.. It booted up my phone.. installed rom manager and booted into recovery twice.. seem to have done the trick
