Help I have bricked my Galaxy nexus

@all
I hard bricked my phone. There are no responses, unless i plug it in. i get a driver that is enabling and then disabling. The Driver is called OMAP4440. I have a Verizon Galaxy nexus.
The procedure in which i bricked it is was
1. Flashed every thing and reloaded the factory OS.
2. In recovery mode used flash / factory restore.
3.Hit the power button during this process.
4. Phone displayed Google screen panicked and pulled battery

need help novice android user.

Just to be clear, you cannot access download mode or access the bootloader? Pressing both volume buttons and the power button does nothing?

No bootloader mode by pressing buttons. and cant access through computer using cmd cause the driver can not recognize the phone. No power and i have nothing displayed on the screen even wen plugged in my computer. the only thing that happens is that enable and disable or the OMAP 4440 drive/

Well that does indeed suck. Sounds like it may in fact be a true hard brick. So...the only options as I see them is a warranty return with crossed fingers or find somebody that provides jtag services if you're forced to go it alone. That route will likely run you in the ballpark of $50, maybe a little less idk.

Can't you flash using Omega3? Or something along those lines? Name might be off but I remember I was stuck in a black screen and reflashing the entire phone.

I unlocked/rooted my VZW GNex using Wug's toolkit. In the kit, there's an option to lock, unroot, and flash back to stock, which he claims can be used in case you brick, though I haven't had to try it (thankfully). I'd read up on his website, then see if it's something you'd like to try. It's worth a shot I guess. Good luck.

You can't brick a GNex...unless you drop it in water or something...

To the OP, I used the following toolkit to restore my phone after I accidentally deleted some system files while in ADB mode :/

While it is VERY difficult to brick a GN, it is certainly possible...

corrupting the bootloader/radios can render a device inoperable, which sounds like what may have happened in this case.

Absolutely. While toolkits will and Odin will fix soft bricks, you can't fix it if you can't interface it and I, too believe that is the case here as evidenced by the processor version reference on the screen and complete lack of bootloader and download mode (Odin). In that event, the phone will have to be partially dismantled and connected to a jtag.

I'd love to be wrong for this guys sake but the clues seem to be indicating the rare but possible hard bricked Nexus.

Hold volume up + volume down + power button for 20 seconds. Yes that's right, 20. Then let go. Then, hold again for 5 seconds. You should be in bootloader mode.
