Root [ARTICLE] To SBC or not to SBC, That is the Question [MUST READ]

Check this article out on SBC vs non SBC from therootofallevo.com. It's very detailed and part 2 runs through some specific kernel comparisons. VERY interesting indeed.

I thought it was crucial for everyone to read. Very, very informative and should be required reading for anyone before flashing a kernel. Glad to pass it on for you.

Great info that everyone should take the time to read.

I'm currently running Anthrax and have been considering using a SBC for some increased battery life, but wonder now about possible battery abuse after reading his testing on those four in his article. At least I know now why I get a instant drop on battery charge when I take it off a charge each morning.

I think I'm doing something wrong. :( I flashed the Mason .14 sbc kernel last night. My phone reached 100%, cool. I unplugged it. Fell back asleep. I woke up to my battery giving me a 5% drop off. I do not understand that at all. Do I have to activate the SBC feature in terminal emulator?

Question answered in your thread titled: SBC dilemma.
