Help Anyone else experience this on their AT&T Note?

Seemingly, whenever I shut down and restart my Note, some applications that have been moved to the SD card are no longer active (installed?). My Note is stock and not rooted. All I see is a grayed out icon, that when tapped says application not installed. I purchased a Samsung 32gb (Class 10) MicroSD card from Amazon at the same time I got the Note. Right after I installed the SD card, I made sure to format it within the phone.

As long as I don't shut down and restart I seem to be fine. The applications that seem to become inactive after a restart are random, and this is getting very frustrating for me. Any ideas on what could be the issue here? I guess I could choose not to move apps to the SD card, but I want as much internal memory freed up as possible. Thanks in advance for any advice or info.

It sounds like your SD card is not mounting properly, My experience with my last phone (HTC EVO 4G) was that it would take an extraordinarily long tim for Android to scan the SD card after a reboot, and any apps that I had transferred to it would act that way until it finished scanning.

Also, the faster cards seem to be somewhat less reliable than the class 2 or 4 cards. If you have any class 6 or below cards laying around, you might try using those just to see if the problem gets resolved.

Thanks guys. I just ordered a Sandisk 32gb (class 4) microSD card, as I've never had issues with Sandisk memory in the past. I should've known better and just gone with the Sandisk to start with. Though I can't believe Samsung would market a product with their name on it, and not have it work with their devices. :( I hope the new card will fix this issue.

Well, I removed and reinserted the SD card and everything is back to normal. I even shutdown and restarted a couple times to be sure. Maybe the card just moves when the phone is bumped or something, or perhaps the card just doesn't fit right that's causing this? The card's memory seems to be fine I think. Anyway, I'll know for sure once the new Sandisk card arrives.
