with all these chats, i'm so having flashbacks to march 2010.....another 900,000 views and a few posts from Steven57 and we can recreate the first incredible release.

HA! I was in here the other day after a prolonged absence, and I thought the same exact thing....total flashback. I feel like there wasn't the same crazy excitement for the DInc 2...

Need a new phone pretty bad as my DInc is on its last leg. Trying to hold out for this, but may jump ship to IPhone. I'm in the segment of people that doesn't want a 4.3 screen or bigger.
Your telling me? My inc is on the last leg. I got dirt in the earpiece and now everyone I talk to sounds like they have one of those voice changers. It creeps me out. This started a couple months ago and I have been eligible for an upgrade since May 20th.

I'd recommend the DInc2 to both of you. You can buy them used off contract for just a couple of hundred bucks. Keep your upgrade for when the DInc 4G comes out if you want. It's got a 4" screen and very slick.

yea but if it comes out next week or the week after, is it worth spending a couple hundred bucks? I don't really have money to throw around.

I think so. You then have the option to wait and see what everyone's experience is with the 4G. If it's a horrible phone you can stick with the DInc2. If it's a great phone you can probably sell the DInc2 for what you bought for it (since it'll only be a few weeks in this scenario) and get the 4G.

Same here! My Dinc reboots multiple times a day, is very slow to open apps and just Monday the GPS had me in Ghana all day. I need a new phone now, don't really want a big screen but if this thing isn't out real soon I'll probably jump to AT&T and get the One X. I don't know why Verizon always does this.

You can order a new speaker of Ebay for a couple bucks shipping included. It is very easy to replace.

Maybe my thought of big red holding off releasing this phone until they get their data share plan in place isn't looking so impossible anymore? ;) They get their data share plan in place, then release this phone and the iPhone they will get rid of a lot of users off the grandfathered unlimited data plan.. Just Saying!

I'm pretty sure like 50 people isn't a lot of people lol. Which is about the number of people with unlimited data that are holding off upgrading for this phone. I doubt VZW are going to just release all their phones in Q3 and Q4 for the shared data plans. That would look bad, and would just upset a lot of people. The least they can do is release one decent phone before the shared data plans take effect, which will be this phone.

I think the number of people that still own an Org Inc or an Inc 2, or possibly a few other phones across the US that would look to upgrade to this phone is quite a bit higher then 50...:) I agree it would look bad on VZW's part, but since when has any other bad decision by a cell phone company caused you or most other people NOT to continue with the service and continue to buy the phones? I hope they release this phone soon. I want it! But am loosing interest as the days go on and am starting to wonder what phones are in Q3 or Q4 of 2012...
