Do you consider 3D a novelty?

Not even a consideration for me. I have a 3D television too. Watched MAYBE 5 3D movies on it in the last year. I didn't pay a huge premium for the 3D capability so it's not an issue. Same with the phone. Given it's capabilities I don't think there's much of premium for it's 3D capability. Much more interested in the dual core and native ICS.

I'm probably one of those who like to have a 3D device. I own a slr, so never take a photo with my MT either any smart phone. But with the 3D, it is going to be a different experience. Beside that I'm having trouble with the MT lately, it's a good time to get a better phone anyway. :)

I bought this phone more for its high end specs rather than the 3d, however after using it I think it's pretty cool. Weird thing is that when I view pictures it seems like I'm looking into the phone for depth however when viewing video it literally does appear like the objects are coming out of the screen towards you. Pretty wild, didn't think that it would work that well.

I've ended up recording and taking multiple 3D moments. Never thought I'd enjoy it so much. I've actually become very appreciative for this function.

The videos really are something else aren't they? XD
