How to Root your samsung galaxy apollo! i5801/i5800


1. Download superoneclick v1.7 from MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

2. Extract the files to a location,

3. Open the folder containing the extracted files,

4. Open SuperOneClick,

If you get a security warning when opening SuperOneClick, just press "Run"

4. Plug your phone into your computer, Take out your SD card and Sim Card!
When you can see the homescreen plug the lead into your phone.
You are NOT to be in download mode!
you need to be able to see the homescreen on the phone.
USB DEBUGGING MUST BE ENABLED!


5. Hit the "Root" Button

6. You should now have superuser access and the superuser application icon on your app drawer.

hi im not able to get this to work i have my phone in debug mode and taken sim and memory card out the phone then reboots and when i hit root it says

superoneclick v1.7.0.0
killing ADB server
*server not running*
ok
starting ADB server...
*daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037*
*daemon started successfully*
ok
waiting for device

and that is as far as it goes i cant see any reason why im having this problem so can anyone please help thanks in advance

are you sure you have usb debugging enabled:

Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging.


also perhaps double check:
Settings > Applications > Wireless and network > USB settings > Ask on connection (rather than Samsung Kies ... not sure if this makes a difference though).

Hi there Followed Instructions upto press "root"
Got the message killing ADB servers Got a dialogue box up saying
"unhandled exception occurred in app.if you click to continue App will ignore this error and attempt to continue."

Nothing further happened . Have got super one click v1.8 and xp . My phone is apollo gt5801 any advice would be great
