Fairwell mobz we will miss you here in overprices cheap phone land!! Lol! I wish I could afford a evo v but I just can't swing it right now! But when I do switch I will be keeping this phone as well!

The tuition g I hate though about HTC is their bootliaders and s-on. They used to be all about the dev community and now they make it all complicated to modify your phone.

But yeah this is the easiest phone(the triumph) to mod seeing as how the system was mounted as readwrite from the factory and putting cwm on is as simple as plugging into a computer lol!!

OMG thank you for all your hard work here! ^_^
OH and can you do a speed test for virgin mobiles 4g? Just wanted to see the speed!

I knew it was fast but i didn't realize how fast until i did a Speed Test

Down - 4mb/s

Up - 1.5mb/s

:D i Must be in a good spot since Wimax is a high frequency signal its easily blocked by trees, walls, ect....

Well, give us a review of the phone and service. We trust you already!

All I got to say is that its the perfect phone only thing is the battery icon isn't accurate it shows half full and green when I have 20% battery left......

*not sure if the VM version is 100% as good as this one since mine says sprint

Yup that's a Sprint Evo 3D on VM my assumption is that VM just used up the rest of the Evo 3Ds and will start making the VM ones like the ones seen in video reviews / first looks after they run out of Evo 3Ds to use

Hey on a serious note does anyone else know what best buy would classify as a faulty phone?

it usually is anything that you couldnt do to the phone yourself, like blown speakers like mobster had, altho you could probly do that yourself lol, non functional buttons, non functional charge port, non functional HDMI port, non working touchscreen, wifi no longer works period, basically any hardware related issues usually

they have fine print that usually needs to be read but like mobster said earlier it tends to cover most things except loss, theft, water damage

bestbuy also like almost all electronic stores usually reserves the right to turn people down, so if they think you did something to the phone in order to get a new one they probly wont help you even with ur warranty/protection plan, not saying that anyone was saying or doing this, just throwin the info out there

also if what people have been saying about the triumph not being sold anymore is true, then you'll probly wanna go in as fast as possible, cause the triumphs value will start to depreciate pretty fast once its gone from all shelves, lasttime i was in my local bestbuy, all the triumphs were sold out which made me laugh cause they were still sellin for around $200, but the people said they werent ordering more, they were just putting the evo where the triumph was on the shelves

Sigh. I unfortunately have had a fairly decent triumph. I do wish something was wrong with it but I don't think its going to mess up unless I do something to it and in all sincerity I think even if I did go out and screw something up on it I cant think of doing something to it that wouldn't be painfully obvious.

ive got a question for ya mobster, altho since you got a sprint one it may actually be different and i personally dont mind, im just curious lol

if you remember when the evo was still only rumors, all the websites said that it would have a 3d camera on it, but that VM was somehow removing the 3d on the screen itself

my question do you got full 3d lol??

and again since you actually got the sprint one and not a branded VM one, do you think if your sprint one actually has full 3d that the VM one wont??

if you visit your local store enough to know like the "Nice" employees, id suggest going in and asking one of them, the reason i say nice is cause there are plenty of mean bestbuy people that just wont help lol but if you find or know a nice one and say hey i really cant stand how crappy this phone is and my terrible signal, etc etc etc they may tell you of a way that you could atleast get some money back and then just pay the difference and leave with a evo

Mine does have full 3D and i gotta say ive been having some fun with it :D

Im pretty sure that the VM version will be the same except that it'll say just HTC on the front and Virgin Mobile on the back...... at least to me it would make more sense since changing the phone in any way cost money and by me having an Evo 3D instead of an Evo V proves that they wanna save money

*Screen is 3D and can play / record upto 720p 3D and 2D the phone can also play 1080p 2D videos

lol well i had to ask lol cause to me the websites didnt make sense, that it would have full 3d camera but the screen couldnt do 3d at all lol, cause to me unless the screens 3d was fully controlled only by software, which i wouldnt think it was, then as you said it would cost alot of money to change out the actual hardware

Ehh it was easy to unlock the bootloader and with 4EXT, you can flash ROMs (and kernels) with S-on. I don't think I'm gonna get s-off.

I sure hope HTC releases source codes for the kernel soon!
