UK - How many people have got the blue one on contract yet?

Hi there,

I've heard a lot of people have got the white one on contract and SIM free and also the blue one SIM free, but was wondering how many people have got one on contract yet?

I ordered mine about a week ago and bestbuymobiles gave an ETA of Friday just gone, but now they have changed the date to the 18th on a pre-order and my order status is PROCESSING ORDER (has been for the last week.

I was wondering if it's like this for everywhere on contract (also heard on another forum somebody having trouble on Orange as well).

Not sure on Orange but I have seen people receive phones from O2, Vodafone, Three (all direct). CPW and mobiles.co.uk have also sent phones out.

Mine comes Tuesday

i picked up mine on an upgrade yesterday from tesco, but on an o2 sim.
i asked for a blue one, but was told by the assistant that the blue ones were having 'problems'.........
i just think they are trying to balance the sales as the blue is obviously the most popular.......

The delay is over and done with now, that clove link is nearly two weeks old.

i smashed the screen on my s2 so i went to get it fixed(79.99).
i couldnt resist buying an S3 and i asked for a blue one,they told me they had all been sent back and it would be at least a month till samsung sent them out again....
so i ended up with a white one with a blue cover.
pretty impressed so far.

It says they don't expect to see them until at least the 5th though.

It might be over and done with and they've sorted the issues, but I imagine it will take a little time for the Blue versions to make their way through to consumers.

I got mine on contract with Phones4u on the Orange network. Mine arrived last Saturday (on the 2nd). I was pretty shocked, after reading about all the delays and such.

you say you got your as an upgrade, can you tell me if you had to pay anything for it? im due an upgrade on the 15th june and im with tmobile. im just wondering what kind of price i could expect

i rang o2, as usual got told the 'best deals' on offer jargon. i said i did not want to pay for the phone, but the cheapest i could get was

They have been reaching consumers since mid last week. I ordered mine Saturday, it comes tomorrow.
O2, Three, Vodafone, Orange are all shipping as well as the 3rd parties like carphone warehouse..

im with tmobile and have two phones(one for me, one for the wife) and we got them about six years ago when the future sister in law still worked in the tmob call centre and we got the friends and family discount. this means we are paying

Got my Blue through T-Mobile on contract this morning, though in truth it came last Thursday but I wasn't in to collect it.

So far it's not connected as my old Desire has the active SIM in and the Galaxy obviously takes a small SIM. I'll have to phone them tomorrow.

I got mine from 3 last Thursday also. Was a bit annoyed as i rang them on the Wednesday evening to ask what was happening. They didn't know when they would have stock etc etc, so at the end of the phone call i was so tempted to change to the white but was told that there was a 2 week wait for it.

Next morning blue one turned up on my doorstep so glad i didn't.

Was a bit annoyed that surely me ringing them no more than 8 hours before they said that my order was still outstanding and they had no idea of dates.

Made me laugh even more when postman knocked at the door on the Friday morning and presented me with a second blue s3!!!

First time with Three network so hopefully this isn't the sign of things to come!

No. Three are cool don't worry about it. I just switched from them to Orange, but only so that I can be interchangeable with work phone. Good 3G coverage with 3 and decent support I found.

I got mine as a second contract with 3. I preferred the blue but got white which is still lovely. Slapped a case on it anyhow so it doesn't matter what colour it is. Got the phone for free with unlimited data, 2000 mins, 5000 texts. Should be plenty for me! I'll cancel my other 3 contract at the end of the month and it should be about

I got mine blue sg3 on 7th from phones4u. Also I got an email from phones4u saying

I like the phone but I don't know whether it is the genuine color or not - the side edges of the back cover have more intense violet like color than the back side and the home button and power/volume button has a different color as well. and now I have noticed that dust entering into the screen from the edges (especially from the gap in the home button).

Can't say I've noticed the colour differences, the home button is a slightly brighter colour though, but I think that's down to it being different material. But yes, I'm noticing the dirt building up a bit too, and it's really annoying.

Chap in Orange shop told me today that they had to return *another* consignment of the blues recently. Hard to know what to believe now. Saw a 'new' blue and not that keen. But better than the white for sure.
