So one of the case options at the sprint store is the white/grey body glove case. As they didn't have the otterbox commuter I bought this case. Here is a review for you. There are two body glove cases offered. One is a graphite grey with its own kickstand. The other is white glossy with grey soft rubber that uses the existing kickstand. I got the white glossy and soft grey rubber one. It was $30. The other is $25.
Positives:
+ It fits snugly.
+ Looks nice if you want the white look
+ Fits in the car dock when you remove the car dock insert
+ Camera button works through case (it didn't in my previous case - best buy seido type case).
Negatives:
- It is almost impossible to get off. You feel like you're bending the phone if you try to push it off the corner as per the instructions. And the process of pushing it off was removing the bottom back portion of the phone. A credit card or similar is really needed to get in the side and slide off the corners.
- The white is slick. The phone naked is very slick, falls easily. This case isn't much better in that regard. If you lay it on its face only rubber will be touching so it works better that way.
- The usb port is too encased. I needed to remove the rubber from it for my usb cables to fit correctly. The one that comes with the phone seemed to work okay without modding the case. But the monoprice ones I have which are more square hit against the case and it wasn't seating properly. Removing the rubber from the top part around the usb port fixed this issue.
- Only comes in white & grey combo
- Rubber really isn't soft. It isn't like a silicone, it is really a harder rubber.
