The Warp, the Crash, and the SD Card

My Warp, replaced by ZTE, still crashes. Once or twice a week. The possibility that the cause is related to the SD card has been raised before, but I always dismissed it, because I didn't always crash when using a program on that card. However, i want to explore that option a little more.

Please....Warp owners....please post what kind/class of card you have, if your phone crashes, and if so, how often. Maybe someone smarter than me will see a pattern.

I have a discount brand card-Dane-Elec , but it is class 4.8 gb. Like I said, I crash at least 2x a week. I'm switching to a Sandisk card, cuz I can't think of what else to do.
Thanks

Only Sandisk here. 16GB Mobile Ultra Class 6.

Possibly anecdotal:
Last week, for the first time since last November when I got my Warp I had a freeze up. I was entering a very large apartment complex and began being alerted to open wi-fi available.

Curious, I was looking at what there was available when it froze. Had counted over 70 networks and the listing was growing rapidly the deeper I drove into the complex. Then, boom. She froze up. Nothing else running on it other than bluetooth paired to a Jabra Freeway. Just me scrolling through the available networks.

I had accidentally left wi-fi on when leaving home that morning. I have now disabled "Network notification" in the wi-fi settings for when I leave home. I haven't tried going back there to see if it's repeatable with notifications off.

70+ detected and an astounding 24(at last count) were open w/o security.

I have an old SanDisk 8GB I got 2 years ago for my Blackberry and it seems to work fine to this day, from Blackberry to Prevail to Warp. I even destroyed my Prevail by having it in my pocket while I entered a hot tub in Maui but the SD Card worked fine even after that. All my music plays flawlessly. Thinking of upgrading though cuz I'vre been talked into downloading movies. Are you rooted Trimbaud?

Never been rooted. I've said so many times on the forum, I love this phone when it works. If I wanted a contract, tho, I'd drop it in a heartbeat. I truly can't understand how some people don't have a problem. I've had 2 phones (zte replaced the first), all the upgrades, changed the sd- it still freakin shuts down at random. Damn.

I have a Kingson 16gb, class 4. I've had the phone for 3 months now, and I realize that sometimes the phone doesn't read the card. I try rebooting and still nothing. What's funny is that if I go into any file manager's, I can see the files on the card. But when I pull up an App (quickpic or music player) neither app can see the files on the SD card. My phone crashes left and right, so I doubt it's the SD card. But now that you mention it, I will remove it, using the phone for a few days without it. If it works well, I'll buy a new card.
