Thanks guys, I will check out SGP. By the way, I have no experience putting it on. So if I buy a screen protector, is it better to go to the sprintstore and have one of them put it on?? Or try it myself?? I would think they would have more experience, the same goes to maybe going to best buy or something

Also, We are getting 2 of these phones in our family. I see the SGP has 2 of those protectors. So it should be fine to order 1 correct? Or should I order 2, because the trying to put the first one usually doesn't work.

Had Best Buy putt my ZAGG on. If you don't have alot of confidence putting these things on it's best to leave it to the professionals.

Had one on my OG Inc for a while...it was nice. Then it started bubbling up, took it off and never got another. Didn't need to, the GG was fantastic. Dropped it a few times, no scratches at all. A case around the edge is a must I think, so that when it goes flat it doesn't contact the screen. That's all I'll be getting for the S3: a case.

I just received my SGP FlexHD yesterday. Looks a lot like Zagg, but with less orange peel.

Question for anyone that has ever dealt with SPG before... The 2 screen protectors are on a black paper in the box. When I pulled them out the have what looks like small imperfections or wrinkles and such. Ya think this is just the paper they are stuck to? Or is this normal. Are these self healing like Zagg? Not sure what to make of it.

Zagg and Ghost Armor look and feel terrible. They both have very noticeable orange peel and will deteriorate the display. The SGP Crystal Clear is one of the best. You almost won't even know it is there. Also feels like the glass itself.

I was thinking of getting the Anti-Fingerprint one when it comes out. What's the different between this one:
SPIGEN SGP Samsung Galaxy S3 Screen Protector Steinheil Flex HD Series - GALAXY S3 - Samsung - Cell Phones

and this one:

Is it just the flexibility and the HD?

I don't want to put a screen protector on it, but may have to give in. It is my experience that it is more than possible to scratch screens. Though I generally haven't ever scratched my droid 2 global which has gorilla glass or my ipod touch, I have a used samsung stratosphere which uses some unknown company's glass and it both came with scratches and I think I have made a few small ones too. I also had a used thunderbolt that had a really deep scratch or 2 and many light ones. I have no clue how someone did that to gorilla glass, but apparently it is possible.

The Ultra Crystal is about as good as you can get. It will have the absolute least effect on the display quality. All anti-fingerprint/glare screen protectors will diminish the display quality more than the clear ones to a varying degree. It is a trade off, clarity vs fingerprints. The Flex HD is similar to the Zagg type, but people have said it has less orange peel affect. If you want the absolute least negative effect on your display, get a clear one. If your priority is no fingerprints, and you don't mind a little more loss of display clarity, get the anti-fingerprint one. Personally, I don't like the Zagg type protectors. They have way too much of a negative effect on the display. I saw an HTC One X with and without the Zagg, and wow it really made that beautiful display look like crap.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm really leaning towards the anti-fingerprint one because of the matte finish it has so there won't be no glare and display quality isn't a big concern to me but I might have to see it in person before I make my decision. Thank you for the clarification though.

I never had a screen protector on my old AMOLED DROID Incredible and after two years the screen is still perfectly smooth.

My current LG Spectrum came with a screen protector on it but I took it off as soon as the corners started curling up. I took it off and am now keeping the screen naked. It feels so much better touching glass than plastic. And glass wipes clean just rubbing it on my shirt, while plastic doesn't.

Based on these experiences, I will be keeping my SGS3 free of screen protectors.

So, as it turns out, the S3 has a weirdly curved screen.
Also, the Martin Fields screen protector doesn't entirely cover the screen (probably because of the curve) and so I can't go for my usual, HQ protector standard.

I keep telling myself it's glass, so don't worry about covering it, but I've never had an uncovered screen before.

And for a phone this expensive...

What about y'all?

Protector/ no protector?

Mister Sheen?

Is the Flex HD an anti-fingerprint one? It doesn't really mention anything in the description about that. I'd prefer one that can minimize smudges and prints, hopefully without degrading too much screen quality...

Will SGP make their Ultra Optics and/or Ultra Fine protectors for the SG3? And can anyone recommend one over the other if so? I'm also debating waiting to see what Realook has to offer since I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Bought this... Samsung Galaxy S3 Flip Case - Ceramic White: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Don't need a protector, besides I can never get them on without dust or something getting underneath...

I would check the thread on this forum about "cases for gs3" apparently this flip case gets very dirty and grubby. So you might want to go with another one. Don't take my word for it though. Go through that thread, and I remember seeing somebody posting that

edit: actually here it is: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/565131-dont-get-official-flip-case.html

Well I wash my clothes regularly so don't have to worry about stains in my pockets getting onto my phone case.
