Ok I dont have my S3 but im sure getting ready for it...so here it goes..

This is exactly how my car looks in the inside is a 2012 ford focus titanium . . .

I need a car mount for the air vents but look how my air vents look like ...

I dont think is possible to find one to hold my Galaxy S3...

I dont want it on the glass because the car mount that i bought for the evo seems far away...

You might say your car has a gps and everything ... but honestly Google Maps beats it by 10000...This Gps sometimes gives you wrong directions and I pull my phone out and it find it quicker. . .

I too have a Fiesta Titanium 2012 (beautiful car isn't it?). Today for the first time I used my Samsung S3 as a sat nav. It fitted in really neatly into the display on the dashboard in landscape mode. Wasn't perfect but it was a good work around. It also fitted in to the bit down by the gear stick where you would put coins (just in front of the gear stick). The screen was perfect size, the gps held all the way through (even though it was on 33% battery life) and I was really impressed with it. Do need to find a car dock for it though.

Yea it is a beautiful car even though Im more of a shelby person haha.

I want to put it where i dont move my head like i can just look at it ... I was thinkinking on top of the GPS right above it but I need some kind of car mount that could hold it there.

edit: by the way how do you update your gps on titanium? I looked around the net and saw an assistant on the new software like a cartoon type....

I'm a big fan of Panavise custom in-dash mounts. I have one in my Acura TSX and, while I don't have a GSIII to mount to it yet, it worked great with the Razr MAXX and Motorola car kit. I had to piece a kit together with the Panavise mount, a ball mount, and the Motorola kit, but it was absolutely stable with no adhesive or suction cup BS to worry about.

That said, it doesn't look like they have one out for the latest Focus yet, but IMO it would be worth keeping an eye on.

I'm thinking about this one:

Mini Universal Car Windscreen Mount holder For Samsung Galaxy S3 SIII i9300 | eBay

I have a vent holder right now, but I've been using it for a long time (got it when my Zune was still new, LOL!), and it's starting to wear out and needs to be replaced. I kind of want one that is up a little higher so it can see out the window, maybe use it as a dash cam for funs. Don't know how you feel about sticking something to your dash with adhesive though. My car is 12 years old, so that doesn't worry me too much, lol! Anyways, it's cheap, might just give it a try.

How far does the magnet stick out on the back of the phone/case? I still want to be able to lay the phone down flat.

It's a metal disk that goes on the phone, not a magnet. They give you a couple different ones with different disk sizes and adhesives. The smallest one is probably 1/16" thick or less. The thickest one is probably 1/8" with thick adhesive for rough/uneven surfaces.
