GS3 Case discussion thread

I'm on the fence with the seidio active case and holster. I have the seidio extended battery and holster for my DInc for the past year and a half and the holster hinge springs wore out.

I ordered the White Commuter on AMAZON. Got notification yesterday the order had shipped. Received this email today....Weird. I'm OK with the wait. Here are latest ETA date we recieved from the Otterbox manufacture,

Same thing happened to mine. I think if you order it from Seidio, rather than amazon, they warranty it for one year. Though my personal thinking is that even after a year they may try to work with you, as they do seem concerned with customer service.

Not exactly a case, but I'm planning on putting this back battery cover + a screen protector on my s3 when i get one. I think the black cover will look sweet on the white s3, and i assume the back wont scratch up since its leather

I dont use covers or plan to, but that Carbon one is very sweet!

Is that carbon one a replacement cover or a case? If that is a new cover, wow, I might get one. Not sure how the black would look with the blue face.

I imagine the carbon case will look amazing on my white s3. Ughhhh I can't wait.

I can concur. I have one for my DINC (with holster as well). It's two separate pieces that will lock in together at that line you see in the back. Each piece (top and bottom) are still going strong over the last two years.

I will most likely get one for the GS3.

Do any stores have any cases yet like bestbuy or even the carriers .....all the phone have the same design ....so when the carriers get cases i should be able to go to any one of them right.....or no

I was looking at the otterbox glacier defender for 34.99 at MCO myself, but after checking their RR I decided I would rather just pay the extra 10 elsewhere and not worry about the hassle.

The defender cases from that seller (CITI) are no longer available to add to cart so dont bother looking for that specific seller. I had a few pages to their Otterbox products open from a few days ago and none of them would show as available when refreshing after that email was posted here.

It's a case. I got one at a Sprint store yesterday. It is very nice and fits the phone really well. It is pretty slim but thicker than I like, I'm taking it back.
It looks really good on a blue phone, but you hardly see any blue with it on. The edges come up around the front of the phone very close to the black screen.

I ordered these. I got the clear one and then there is also a green one, which I thought fitting for an Android phone! I'll have the cases long before I have the phone unfortunately! My upgrade isn't until July.

I love the Commuter (have one for my iPhone) but it only comes in black. Blech!

Oops! I just read a post indicating the Commuter would come in different colors mid-July. Hurray! Thats what I'm going to get. Hopefully there will be a pink and white combo similar to what I had for my iPhone.
