Ok so i was messing with my audio settings and i found a cure to youtube problem for freezing and music for freezing to ok go to root expolre and look for
system/bin and delete the following items

mm-audio-acdb-test
mm-audio-alsa-test
snd
snd8k
sound8x60

hope this works! it work for me

the only bug left that is need to be fix is the camera function and the monster 5.3 will be awesome!

NEVERMIND WHEN YOU RESTART THE PROBLEM COMES BACK!! NOT FIXED D:

Those definitely look like they should not be removed.

Not sure if beats overwrites any actual sound files need for the system though. So it may not be that safe.

I'm on the cricket network so I've passed on all these ROMs ftmp. Is monster based off stock, or cm7.

I'm on stock baseband v.eh29,and am having zero issues with beats. Although I've incorporated it into my alpha ROM and flashed it, didn't flash dikallstars zip.

stock++ is based off of 2.3.6 monster is based off of 2.3.4

My Admire is working well with monster but my friend keeps getting market error 492 every time I try to download an app.

He is Running 5.2 (5.3 full gave us NIC problems on his) with the OC kernel.

I have tried downloading Google Play with the laptop and re-installing it that way but it got me no-where

Any ideas?

When you install monster 5.3 your suppose to sign into your google account and let the phone sit for 15mjns +

Go to settings go too applications all apps then look for google play store and google frame work clear data and restart the phone and just let it sit their don't even open anything it work for me

Beats is working fine for me with my music... I don't use the stock music player in the ROM though I use "DoubleTwist" because I like the lockscreen controls. Doesn't freeze or anything.

I use Link2SD, and I think I encountered problems because of the auto-install of Apps2sd.

I removed these files from the zip:

a2sd
A2sd.apk
apps2sd
apps2sd.hlp

and wondered if there were other places I might need to check. I'm probably going to go for it to satisfy my own curiosity, but expert help welcome.

Also, is it ok to add apks to the app directory (swype-installer.apk, titanium backup, and link2sd) or does it take actual coding to include an apk in a ROM?

This is NOT true. Why do people think this?? Stock++ is just stock with a new kernel and a few tweaks..... Its 2.3.4.... Damn devs making there 2.3.4 roms say 2.3.6

this wasn't what i thought, this was what i knew based on the info given... i mean the build said 2.3.6 you can't blame me for this misinformation because Req never mentioned this wasn't 2.3.6
