i have been having issue activating the htc evo v 4g can somebody help me and i call virgin mobile too i did everything what they told me

I justin did too if it doesn't read your sn it could be a glitch make sure you power off then retry with wifi it worked for me

ill stand to be corrected, but i really believe you need the network connection so all will activate correctly. there is a thread about actvation problems. that maybe the best place for the answers hope you get it working. very good phone

Yeah, activating took like 10 tries for me the first time. I had to manually change my plan to the 35 $ one from the 25 because the pop up to change it during activation wasn't working. Its really iritating that doing so cost me not only an extra 10 a month, but lost me 3 weeks of my 25 dollar plan.
Then, I had to redo the whole business because I returned my phone due to a screen defect, and at that point everytime the activation dialogue would come up, it would be immediately replaced by an "offer" for phone insurance. So I had to have customer service do it for me. If 35 $ wasnt still the cheapest data plan out there, I would sooooo be done with virgin.
