I'm still looking for the notification tones inside Google Now/new voice search.
The ones where you say "look up whatever".. --gives a tone-- then finds your query..--then another tone--

Yeah, I've got a sci-fi thing going on with my phone. Themed the homescreens to match. I'd really love to find some more sounds like that to use across the rest of my phone.

I suspect that Google Now's files are stored in Velvet.apk under /system/apps/. Under the raw resources, there's failure.wav, no_input.wav, open.wav, and success.wav. These don't seem to be openable using ES Explorer's in-built player - are APK resources compiled or encoded somehow? For certain, they aren't just raw WAV files.

if you know the actual name of the system app i can probably find the tones for you. i checked my system/app folder and nothing really stood out to me excepte "voicesearchstub.apk" but there was nothing in there.
I find Google Now very interesting. I do actually use it, sports scores are nice, and the travel time, while not very useful for me, can be really nice for folks in large cities who have a couple route options for getting home I imagine.
